Absolutely love it Jurijs. I personally think this is your best scape. I just love it. It is at the same level as one of the amazing scapes at Adam’s ADA Poland gallery. I just love the look. But the challenge is to get the hardscape and enough Ricardia moss to make this.
@JurijsJutjajevs5 жыл бұрын
hardscape is made from numerous small pieces - easy. Having that much riccardia is more difficult, but if you have time - you can use moss mud method and dry start the tank. this way you only need little amount of riccardia and you can achieve a much nicer result

@@varphotography sorry, i'm new to the hobby. What is diorama style? Does it have anything to do with iwagumi or dutch style tanks?
@varphotography5 жыл бұрын
Fernando Nicotera Those are classical styles that are typically used. Nowadays, in a lot of the contest tanks, people tend to replicate a natural landscape scenery in miniature. Diorama is the perception of a landscape/scene in miniature. There are critical aspects to making a diorama: expressing the sense of scale by using leading lines, receding sizes of hardscape etc. In this particular tank, it means using biggest pieces of hardscape closest to the viewer and them getting smaller as it gets farther away. Also the use of converging lines (sand layer going from wide in front to narrow in the back), the size of plants used in front vs back (Montecarlo in front, HC in back). All these make it look like you are peeking through a window into that particular scene. This makes it accentuate the size of the tank and increases the detail as well.

I wish I could do a tank like this, I have to say that the path should be concaved like a worn path and have more of it showing and have a little bit dirty in the distance to give it depth. The wood at the front right should have a stone under the gap or something to fill it in. I love the style can we have more. Thanks

You should add more root structure to the foreground plants currently they are like covered entirely in moss. I think it will add more detail to the tank. What Intensity and Duration are you running the Twinstar at? I have a 600SS and I can't get my Hygrophila Pinnatafida that red like the ones on the right on yours, not even close. It may just be because the leaves are twisted upside down? Mine look similar to the patch in the centre. I am worried about algae on Buces and Anubias if I push up the light, so I run mine at 65% not sure if there is a solution for this. Any idea?
