I saw my first episode of this channel several weeks ago. No one told me it was so addictive. I guess I relate in a way. No, I don't speak any Asian language fluently but I used to get along pretty well in Japanese. That said I spoke German and French fluently thanks to living in both countries. I remember waiting to get our table for lunch with my business partner and fellow American expat in a small town called La Trinité-Victor, France. The guy next to us was on an anti-American diatribe using a common slang term for Americans: requin. Requin means shark. Just think of all the nasty stuff the name shark connotes. We would nod our heads at the appropriate times and carried the conversation with our Nice accented French. Waitress came up to us and said our table was ready. My friend turned to me and said in his best val-speak American English, lets go eat I am starved. I said something like yeah, I am really hungry and turned to the French guy and said, still in English, nice meeting you and enjoy your meal. I thought the bar counter would break from the impact of his jaw when it dropped open. Pierre, yup that was his name, became a good drinking buddy. He had never met an American and he kept saying for years he had no idea Americans can be such great guys.

小马在北京街边小车上吃的可能是摊煎饼，用兑水的面粉倒在一个圆形的热烤盘上，然后用一个带把的木片在水面粉上转圈，就摊出来一个饼，然后打一个生鸡蛋在饼上，一起烤熟，再放上一些面酱和辣酱葱花香菜以及生菜等，还有一个方形的油炸的酥脆可口的面酥也放在上面，然后用煎饼包起来叠成方形，一个鸡蛋摊煎饼就好了。味道好极了。如今大街上已经很少见到了。

小马你应该尝试西安和西北的饮食，尽管这个店的擀面皮（肉夹馍、凉皮）是陕西美食，还有类似的陕西裤带面，所以大部分华人和美国人都没吃过，虽然我认为美国人更喜欢北方的食物（比较过瘾😄）。你看到和吃过的中国美食，只是冰山一角，😂加油继续了解中国美食，不过恐怕您是要亲自来中国才能办得到。
