Ross and I were actually at this Bricks & Minifigs on Friday while we were out around town, and while we were there we saw SO MANY retired sets! There was one Lord of the Rings set that caught our attention but we weren't ready to purchase... we wanted to think on it. So once the weekend was over we decided to go for it because it'll be perfect for our LEGO Middle Earth build in the LEGO City!

No Emma I dident have Anny of them set s 🥲 my mum an nan must of stop buying Lego for me. And I was not. Buying Lego in the 90 s ..I guess I had my stencil art clothing design stuff and music to keep me distraction and bizzy ..but I do wish I was. Buying Lego then . But set s are so much better now days ..but I do love some. of the 80 s 90 s set s to ..I'm back tracking on buying set s I like. I mean he does know a lot but it’s like stuff every Fan should know. There wasn’t anything I didn’t know for example. But maybe it’s because I collect LEGO for like 20 years and I know everything about every Theme that came out in these 20 years. But hey not saying Ross knowledge is basic but something people should already know. I can even look at a Sets and tell you what parts are special and rare. Spend too much on bricklink XD But yeah Ross is still cool. Emily got a good one here

I have to say: I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, so I don't drive down near Austin nearly enough to know about Bricks N Minifigs on my own, but I was in the Seattle area for a friend's wife's celebration of life (think memorial service or posthumous birthday party) and saw there was one in Monroe, WA and found a Harry Potter set I was looking for for dirt cheap. I have to thank you for bringing this store to my attention because I would not have known to look for it while in the area. Edit: Also got a handful of battle droid minifigs to fill out my Clone Wars battle scene.

Ross' LEGO fandom really shines in these Bricks & Minifigs videos, but man, you guys are really sleeping on Fabuland. Way before your time for either of you, but the theme was the perfect bridge between Duplo and traditional LEGO themes with so many unique elements. Kind of like the 4+ Easy Build sets you see today but with anthropomorphic animal minifigures. Also it had a claymation series that was just so wholesome and charming that I had to go and watch an episode after watching your video.

Yes and No for the info you gave to the sandspeeder. The sand speeder in canon was at the Battle of Jakku used by the New Republic but it isn’t it’s origin. The Origin Story is actually: It was a Toy for the release of TLJ. It didn’t appeared in this color ever but the Company who made it just thought a sand version of the HotH speeder would be cool. Then way later it became canon. Same goes for Mace Windus Purple Clones. They were released as a Toy first without being canon. Then later LEGO made a set out of this Toy. Another fun fact about the Sand speeder: The Lego Set depicts what the original Toy showed: A sandspeeder shooting a moisturizer. That’s how we know the set is actually based upon the original Toy rather than the canon battle of Jakku
