I see what you did there🤘😎 - A reference to the song "The Twilight Zone" - It's on side two of the 2112 album and that whole other side gets overlooked a lot. "Truth is false and logic lost Now the fourth dimension is crossed" "Use the key unlock the door See what your fate might have in store" First time I heard this song it was through headphones and the "whisper track" gave me a fright. I thought someone had come into the room. April 1976, I was 17 and had seen Rush live a few days earlier and fell in love with them straight away.

Geddy Lee has a very distinct voice along Neil Peart on the drums makes a great combination. My brother that was 2 years older than me got me hooked on this amazing group. To me their music will stand the test of time. ROCK ON!!!!!!

This is probably the most well known Rush song. The drummer, Neil Peart, is considered one of the best drummers ever. Drums are always going to be a mainstay in most Rush songs, with the late, great Neil Peart. The soundtrack to my life and times. The drummer's name is Neil Peart (Pronounced: Pier-T) and he was, in my opinion, the greatest rock drummer of all time. I'll grant anyone else their own view, these things are subjective by their nature. He passed away in January of 2020, laying to rest any hope of a Rush reunion. The singer, Geddy Lee (long story), who also plays bass guitar, keyboards, Moog Taurus pedals (a foot operated analog synthesizer), has said that he doesn't want to play Rush songs "without those two guys. Even though he's (Neil) still the new guy". Fun fact, the white guitar that the guitar player (Alex Lifeson) was playing in the video is the guitar he used for the actual recording. The solo was played on a similar model but was black. The while guitar is a Gibson ES-355 and it's the same guitar he used for the band's "Working Man" encore in Cleveland which has a funky reggae change up from the original. In a sort of "end of an era" gesture Alex has auctioned off most, of not all, of his Rush era guitars. Including that one. It sold for $385,000 USD. The proceeds went to charity so it's like paying it forward in a way. "Prime Mover" "Presto" "Fly By Night" "YYZ" (it's "zed" not zee". Y'know, 'cause they're Canadian, eh.) "Bastille Day" "Lakeside Park" "The Twilight Zone" That ought to get you started down the Rush "rabbit hole".
