Not sure if you were told but half the shops close on any one day during a weekday, they take turns to open. Most of them will open on Friday and the weekends. Not sure since it's now back in lockdown. Also, in Cantonese, SS2 Hawker Centre is also called "SS2 Wai Sek Kai". Never go on a Monday, SS2 Pasar Malam runs then and you'll never get into the square.
