I love the porches and the upstairs balcony. The kitchen needs upper cabinets, and you could add some storage in the dining room. Upstairs, you might be able to tuck in a half-bath under the eaves, since tripping down the spiral stairs when half-awake could be hazardous!

Nice home but minus a much needed 2nd bathroom upstairs. Kitchen not well layed out, for example there’s a corner of dead space next to the fridge. General storage space and computer/office space is severely missing. Other than upstairs, where would one put an office work area?

Great job! The dishwasher looks likecit won't open due to refrigerator door handles. If it does looks like clearance is like 1 inch. Tight fit to be sure! Not too keen on all the wood interior but that's a quick fix.

I love this home for a guest house. It's small, so it's easy to care for. Plus, the upstairs would be for the children. They can go downstairs for a drink, snack, or bathroom. And if there are no children the adult's that would stay there would have plenty of room on the first floor for anything. This house has a classic come home to me feel. ❤

I like this plan very much. Like other commenters I would add a half bath upstairs, there are several additional opportunities to add storage in the kitchen and dining room. I would eliminate the door between the living room area and the downstairs bedroom. Two doors to the bedroom are unnecessary.

The back porch could be better utilized by adding the enclosed area to the kitchen or for a laundry/ utility area. Why leave the back open?

Can we talk about the spiral staircase? There is no way you’re getting anything bigger than tack boards and the bed on the second floor; or did I miss patio doors? Nothing for privacy on the second floor? That entire setup is just weird.

Back porch a waste. How do you get the furniture upstairs? Not up the little staircase.. crappy kitchen. Like the feeling of the house though
