Tiger's Nest Monastery is Bhutans most popular tourist attraction. This incredible monastery clings to the side of a cliff dropping 700 meters into the abyss. Located at more than 3000 metres high, it's a challenging trek and one of the country's busiest.

Nate Meets World no time limit at all. You could spend all day there. And there are different viewpoints so you can take other trails that branch off to see more.

how long is the donkey? and does Bhutan still have the daily package fee? was like $250 before I think.

I think the donkey probably takes the same amount of time as walking. They still have to take care on the route, but you don't have to do the work and yes, they still have the daily package fee of $250 per day. I hear that for 2018 they are waving the fee for Australians.

If one decides to leave behind all materials and so desires to join a tibetan monastery to focus solely on spiritual progression and oneness is it possible to join this monastery if one feels drawn to commit oneself wholly to the Tiger's Nest Monastery?

That's a great question. I'm not sure. But I know that it is a working monastery so I would think that people can join if they wish. I will have to do some research on that.

It is expensive. It's a good trip to take when traveling in Nepal or India and then booking an organized tour for a few days.
