Yes It works! It has been out multiple times with other U.S. Carriers and other Nato Carriers. But yes it is in Port for more Maintenance. They have had some trouble with her, but she is still Young and they will get her running perfect and non stop soon enough. She is the First Class of a New Carrier and the Biggest Ship the U.K. has ever built. The U.S. Ford Class took years to get stuff working right and she is and has been on her first Active Duty Maiden Voyage without any problems! Actually her deployment got extended due to the Iran shipping stuff and Russia taking down our drones. So have faith, The Queen Elizabeth will be the best ship of her Class once the Kinks are worked out of her.

@@tonys1636 By far we have the Best Submarines, no doubt in my head. But there are some other good ones out there as well and one that even Sunk a Nimitz Class Carrier. Sweden in War Games was able to get into a U.S./NATO Naval Strike Group and it Sunk the Carrier. And not that it matters, but the Captain was a Woman! It was a Diesel/Electric Sub and that is probably how it got in and was able to do that all Undetected... But the Ohio Class & Virginia Class Submarines are the Best in the world and are the Most Heavily Armed Man Made Machines ever built. One Submarine could Take out a Country the size of the United States all by it's self.... Amazing!!!

In February 2022 (after 8 yeas fighting against Ukrainian Nazism, for their own survival) both the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic, saw Ukraine building up a military force of over 200,000 troops (with Nazi battalions included) on their borders, (who were well dug in, and heavily armed with modern western weapons targetting them). Ukraine were about to carry out a pre-planned full-frontal, military assault against all those innocent people in Eastern Ukraine, to wipe them all out. This is what every one of these traitors, against all of us, are supporting today, can anyone believe this?. We then saw the Donetsk People's Republic, and the Luhansk People's Republic, (REQUEST) Russian military protection from Ukraine, and (REQUEST) Russian military assistance against Ukraine's illegal government's army and their Nazi murdering thugs - To which Russia (QUITE RIGHTLY) agreed, while also recognizing their own independence from Ukraine. Nobody has ever attempted to claim an invited and requested military intervention to protect innocent people as a military invasion by anyone EVER! By far I would say that the Ford Class is the Best Carrier out there, and not because I am from America. But because it can carry by far the most amount of Air Craft, from fixed wing to Choppers. So in that sense it can dish out way more Fire Power than any other Aircraft Carrier. Also I believe that the Defensive Group that Escorts these Carrier Groups is the Best with the Ford Class. Even a Nimitz Class is better than any of the others. So the U.S. has the Best Two Aircraft Carrier's in Service Now or that will be entering service within the next 16yrs & 4 Months, or by 2040. By then the U.S. will have 14-18 Aircraft Carrier's in Service and almost a third of them will be Ford Class. And all I can say is I see a Large Increase in Ship Building, and if they get more Efficient then China or any other Nation/Country will not be able to keep up. Nato is the Only way to go!!! Power to Ukraine!!!!!!!🏴‍☠🌍

Apparently the UK carriers displace 80,000 tons ( American tons ) at full load. They are enormous.... And like their American counterparts are equipped with aircraft that are small and short on range and performance. Hence the confident and aggressive posture of the Chinese Communists. Yup. The Vikrant looks like a sensible design. Bow ski jump for STOVL and angled flight deck for STOBAR all in the same carrier. All bases covered at relatively low cost. Compare with the comedy QE carriers with no angled flight deck and an in line ski jump meaning only STOVL operations are possible. Surely a political carrier configuration so as not to offend the Yanks and show our servitude by buying and operating the ho hum F35b franchise on a carrier that is big enough (though not really fast enough) for CATOBAR and STOBAR operations. The UK should at the very least amend the QE carriers to be STOBAR capable like the Vikrant at the earliest opportunity and navalise the Typhoon and make sure the BAE Tempest is carrier capable from first flight. But alas, the defence establishment in the UK will continue to refuse to do the obvious and deliberately make the QE carriers totally dependent on the F35 and US sourced drones (even thought he UK is more than capable of designing and operating home developed versions of both for less cost than buying off the US shelf).

It's not that unusual for a new ship to have issues, Americas latest carrier has had issues delaying it, Frances latest carrier had a propellor fall off after comissioning. It's just tabloids that try to make it out like it's a big deal, like the time they went apeshit about a leak in one of the ships, which in reality was so minor a pump from your average fish tank could have taken care of it. Also not sure what this bullshit that keeps getting perpetuated about not being able to afford the F-35. The UK is literally still waiting on half its order to be delivered, that's the issue.

It's not a question of affordability but more a question of supply from the US which has several countries wanting the F35 and needing to fulfil the requirements of their own Air Force and Navy. The UK’s first tranche of 48 jets is forecast to be delivered by the end of 2025 with the US finishing its supply of 600 F35s to Europe by 2040 - the UK Royal Navy will get its remaining order of all 74 F-35Bs by 2030. As for problems with the boats, this is normal across all navies and is why they go through a long period of testing before they're put into service.

Because he was a Black Man. And the DEMOCRATS wouldn't have backed the funds for the ship unless it was named after a Black man. That's fine. But they should have named it after Colin Powell. The UK could easily afford ! But the Tory government aren’t a military fan and downgraded them to STOVL plus used Eastern Europeans to do a lot of the work on these vessels ( cheap labour ) causing problems so when they returned to the shipyards they were repaired by British tradesmen and won’t have problems again

All new ships have problems, the Ford class had many more than the Q.E. class. The U.K. can be proud of her Navy, now and in the future with new 26, 31, 32, 83 types being built. The Astute is way ahead of most subs and the Dreadnought will be most advanced sub ever. So don't write what you know nothing about.

They will get them going at some point, just hope sooner than later. They just need to work the Kinks out of her. She is the first of a New Class and the biggest ship the U.K. has ever built. Like I said earlier the Ford was done in 2018 and not put into service till this year and is still out on her Maiden Voyage that got extended due to Iran and Russia. So I have all the faith in the world in them....
