Love their home , and all the hacks , very creative. And Randy and Amanda need to set off a tornado warning before approaching someone's dwelling 😂 . I couldn't stop laughing 😂. You guys were all over the place . I don't really think those tiny homes are big enough for the energy you guys are bringing . I'm sure when you guys left the home owners sat themselves down on their couch, and quietly pondered what the hell just happened 😅 .

That was one of the things that attracted me to ITH, the Randy racks and the storage under the stairs. They say the Randy wracks take too much labour so they don't make them anymore. I would pay extra. Of course they buy their cupboards and don't build them anymore. Just the same they're beautiful.

I just love these videos. You guys are putting these kind of videos out every day. Their house is absolutely beautiful. I visited last month and stayed at an Airbnb in the forest. I loved it. I want to live in this community. The energy is something I cannot explain. So many wonderful friendly people I ran into. My problem is coming up with the 15,000 dollar key money. I would love to rent to own. I have a pension and my social security. I can afford 1,000 dollars a month. I just need to be given the chance to do it.

well thats the thing. I could well afford to buy an incred-i-box if I can get financing. But I dont have nor ever well have 15,000 to put down for the land. i will be 65 in January. If that could also be financed. It would be such a blessing to so many people.

@@lindamiller5489 Yes, the ornamentals do make fruit, small and tart, but perfect for jelly, as you say - they have a lot of pectin, so good to mix with other fruit as well. My gran always made pickled crab apples; they were delicious, used like chutney, great with pork. And if you don't want to eat them, they feed the birds.

I love your home❣️ You've done such a wonderful job of finding furniture with storage in it, and of maximizing storage in cabinets throughout. The cabinets, display shelves, vanity and privacy screen for the loft are lovely! I will be building boxes for those stairs, that are half the height of the risers and half the width of the treads, and leave them open in front to tuck in slippers, my gloves, and a folding umbrella 🌂. It will be like Jefferson stairs, and it's the only way I can think of to be able to use that loft with my bad knees. Gorgeous home 😍. Thanks for the tour!

Great video! My wife and I have purchased a Birmingham that will reside in Buffalo Creek. Ours is being built by the Amish as we speak. It's in the final stages and has probably been completed this week. Unfortunately, ours didn't include the pantry that Randy has designed into the Birmingham recently, so I will be adding one to our Birmingham as soon as I can get into it. I'd love to trade pantry design ideas with Al. Al and Libby came up with some great enhancements that I'll be incorporating into my Birmingham.

Slide out cutting boards under the different counter spaces like a drawer that need little space above any lower cabinets and banks of drawers. They make life easier. Two in our old knotty pine kitchen and I’d make more in my plan.
@chezmoi4211 ай бұрын
Those used to be standard issue back in the day. It's hard to understand how they fell out of fashion, they're so practical. Another thing that people in tiny homes need to consider is cabinet door-mounted storage racks - they make the most of that shallow space that usually goes to waste. I'm lucky enough to have a 3' w pantry closet, and we put organizers the full height inside both doors. They hold an amazing volume of things, and they're so easily accessible.

Great video of another great home! I love their use of white walls against the wood, especially the inset wood on the large window in the living room. They've made excellent use of space for storage. That pull out bathroom rack is 'tha bomb!' (as the kids say, lol), and the pull out storage racks in the lower kitchen cabinets, as well. I've heard smaller windows at the top near the ceiling like that called clerastory windows, and they do make for a nice, bright space without making you feel like you're on display to aĺl the neighbors.
