Absolutely stunning, inside and out! Bill, I love your planting beds and the walkway up to the deck with the flagstone pavers and pea gravel. Can't wait to see the screen porch and outdoor kitchen. Carmen - This home is perfect to age gracefully in, with the 'den' transformable to a bedroom, and a bathroom on each level. You have plenty of room for guests and to entertain. It's lovely.

I loved Bill and Carmen’s home from the original tour. But it’s almost impossible to believe that nearly two years after moving their home to the mountain, they still don’t have full utilities and had to convert their home to solar power. They are truly a resilient couple.

I also like the shower curtain in the 1st bathroom (I have the exact same one for my 36" shower!) A beautiful home inside and out on a picturesque lot on the Mountain! Thanks for the tour! LOVE this home! Tip on the bamboo….keep it in the container. Once planted in the ground it will be hard to impossible to get rid of if you ever want to. It was a tip given to me when I considered planting bamboo.

You both are so gifted in design, construction & so much more. Your home is very peaceful, warm, inviting & comfortable. To me it’s the perfect size. The outside color of your home is such a gorgeous, rich color of Brown, first thing that stood out to me. A perfect backdrop to your Green plants, rocks, walkway & more. Like you I would want 2 bathrooms too. They are necessary & well placed & organized in your home. Your guest bedroom is lush, private & dreamy. Your kitchen, living room is such a standout with the big arches above. Such a WOW factor that makes me gasp, it’s so beautiful. I love the river that flows in your kitchen, so personal & such a beautiful meaning to it. Your cozy living area is awesome. I love your eclectic choices of mixed colors, patterns & a real earthy feeling throughout your house. You’ve added many beautiful colors, tiles, pictures, nooks & cranny’s for interest, personal stories of your life & warmth. Your home to me is an outstanding mix of that movie, 0n Golden Pond, a grandma’s house, a log cabin, a secret garden, a castle, garden of beauty, cozy, personal, loving, warmth, cute sweet little rooms & surprise. It has a spirit of its own because what your 💕 love has created together over the years. People can buy land, but it’s never really ours because the next generation comes in later & molds it to their style. God owns the land, we just enjoy it for a season! I've been wondering about them. I remember watching the move to the mountain and the bottom of the house scraping the ground. I always loved the "mudroom entry", as well as, two bathrooms and the basement. Can't wait to see the outdoor kitchen.
