For your viewers information and education, a 1966 Roosevelt dime was sold at the August Stack's Bowets Rarity auction, lot # 3525 that is the only SILVER 1966 dime known as it was overstruck on a 1962D SILVER DIME. Graded MS62 by NGC and NO REGISTRY SET will ever be complete without it! The hammer price with the buyers premium was $13,200! It had been part of my collection since discovered in 1969. If you have a chance to pick up a copy of this rarity sale, their is a full page picture and description of this UNIQUE RARITY!
