@Hillefraenkel definitely agree 💯👍🏼 From what I understand Brandon & the rest of the band refused to sign "the contract".. (same w/ HollywoodWeird actors & actresses, NBA, NFL, & more)- those that "don't want to sign a deal w/ LŪÇÏfÊr, do rituals", & other things I can't even type, get kicked out - no more shows, concerts, movies, sports, no more covers of magazines - "that's it, you're out". And, looking back at AMAZING voices that are not w/ us anymore- (these, to name very few, were throughout my lifetime)- John Lennon, Bob Marley, K. Cobain, up to C. Cornell, Chester Bennington, Avicii, & these 3 were connected to the info they knew, were exposing & trying, LITERALLY to fix.. child trafficking & more) yet ALL their death's were covered up & the "news", magazines, Google, FB, Instagram, Wikipedia, ALL SMN outlets, & more straight up lied to us. BUT...if you know, you know...ya know? #WiKiLĒĀks4Astart Blessings to you & all 🙏🏼😊

Anna Molly is about a broken girl who feels dead in the inside and appears dead on the outside to people (hence in the video they think she's dead). The flip side of the name is more meaningful which is an "Anamoly" which is something that deviates from what is standard or normal. She's a mess and she's not like everyone else. This is what made me fall in love with Incubus since I was like kid. They have very deep meanings behind their song lyrics.

Also here because Band-Maid is doing a collaboration with Mike Eizinger. If their collaboration is going to have an Incubus feel, I hope it goes in this direction. It's a cool song. Great groove. Brandon Boyd has SUCH a unique voice, his vibrato is UNMATCHABLE! Not many rock artists have his type of vibrato and it’s SOOO good! I actually sang “Drive” at a Pops concert in my chorus class in high school as a solo performance. I couldn’t match his skill, but I was also REALLY nervous doing it so that didn’t help at all. Anyways, LOVE these guys; they’re at No. 4 on my favorite Rock Artists list. My list goes: 1. Red Hot Chili Peppers 2. Slipknot 3. Foo Fighters 4. Incubus 5. Balance and Composure 6. Circa Survive 7. Annabel Lee BY EDGAR ALLAN POE It was many and many a year ago, In a kingdom by the sea, That a maiden there lived whom you may know By the name of Annabel Lee; And this maiden she lived with no other thought Than to love and be loved by me. I was a child and she was a child, In this kingdom by the sea, But we loved with a love that was more than love- I and my Annabel Lee- With a love that the wingèd seraphs of Heaven Coveted her and me. And this was the reason that, long ago, In this kingdom by the sea, A wind blew out of a cloud, chilling My beautiful Annabel Lee; So that her highborn kinsmen came And bore her away from me, To shut her up in a sepulchre In this kingdom by the sea. The angels, not half so happy in Heaven, Went envying her and me- Yes!-that was the reason (as all men know, In this kingdom by the sea) That the wind came out of the cloud by night, Chilling and killing my Annabel Lee. But our love it was stronger by far than the love Of those who were older than we- Of many far wiser than we- And neither the angels in Heaven above Nor the demons down under the sea Can ever dissever my soul from the soul Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; For the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And the stars never rise, but I feel the bright eyes Of the beautiful Annabel Lee; And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side Of my darling-my darling-my life and my bride, In her sepulchre there by the sea- In her tomb by the sounding sea.

I first heard this song when I was 12. I believe it was at the mall or some place like that. This was way before shazam and the internet was not what it is now. The chorus stuck with me for years and I thought he was saying “lonely” I searched the web for HOURS with no results. It haunted me and made me very sad that a song that touched me so deeply I may never hear again. I eventually forgot about it. I’m 26 now and a DJ. The song came on the jukebox of the bar I was playing at tonight as I packed up. I was mid convo and didnt hear the song until the last chorus. It struck me. I frantic shazamed the final seconds of it. It said Anna molly and I thought it was a mismatch as shazam will sometimes do. I checked the jukebox for a last played and got nothing. I was reminded of a sadness I hadn’t felt in years as the song stuck in my head again. As a final attempt I decided to play the shazamed track. To my utter surprise this was it! I have been listening to it on repeat all night. I can now die in peace!

This was the first Incubus song I ever heard back in 2006/2007 in my last year of high school. Was introduced by my ex-bestie. I became obsessed with their sound, and Brandon Boyd’s powerful, emotive vocals. I especially love the imagery the lyrics paint.

One of my favorite songs by them. Right up there with Pardon Me, I Miss You, Wish You Were Here, Stellar, Dig, Drive... That moment in the video where the furnace fires up is just epic! I'm not familiar with their 2 or 3 most recent albums, but loved everything from Make Yourself onward. Fungus Among us and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. are good but a completely different listening experience. I got to see them live with The Deftones and Taproot way back in either very late 1999 or in 2000 at Mercer Arena in Seattle. They stole the show, that's for sure. Love Brandon's voice!
