Frank, you have a mill, so why not make some T nuts to fit in the track, and put 1/4"-20 threaded holes in them. Then you could use knobs with a 1/4"-20 stud to secure the fixtures to the track, or simply use bolts.,

Rockier sells tee head bolts for their tracks. Square head bolts might also work. Rockers bolts are 5/16.

Weld a couple little nubs on the head of the bolt enough to keep them from spinning

Super glue the bolt head to the bracket. That will hold it in place.

Frank, head to that new lathe and make some1/4-20 square head bolts.

Try 3in1 rv window track dry lube might help them slide

How come you just didn’t cut the long ones on 45 degree on one end to keep from having to piece it all together? Just curious

Try a 5/16" bolt instead of 1/4" I've had the same problem before when using T-track.
