Wow, that segment with James explaining the structure they were looking for out there with the garmin mapview was very well done and very informative. A great addition to the show!

Love ice fishing mille lacs, but with a limit of one walleye and the slot of 19-21", its a waste of the time and money invested to make the trip (for me atleast, due to location). Hoping that the tight limitation on walleye this year will help the up coming years numbers to increase greatly. Great video! Enjoyed watching it.

Hey James, great video as always! I was wondering what your set up is for the IFish Pro. As far as main line, leader line, swivel, hook, and hook size. Thanks!

Merry Chrismas from out here in the west... I know you guys like to go after a lot of the warm water species but have you guys thought of doing some in depth strategies for Trout/Kokanee??
@jamesholst40008 жыл бұрын
We do trout and salmon episodes every winter with rainbow, coho, lake trout always on the target list. FYI - Our episode that will air Jan 8 will feature lake trout.
@jasonv61558 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply, I will be watching for that episode... Have you ever done an episode that targets kokanee? I target them in the summer and will be trying for them in the winter.

Will say's not a big enough fish to keep......You , me , Being the American sports man can't keep even one fish from mille lacs any way's, They have wreaked the lake for the sport's man, Now don't get me wrong, I grew up fishing the lake, And I never keep big fish because they feed any lake, For IDO that do fishing show's an for a high 90 % of the time don't keep fish the lake is perfect for, And you guy's at IDO as alway's do great shows and give all us viewers great info keep up the great work.

Hey comment section, question. How do you go about locating the fish without those fish radars? A buddy and I are trying to ice fish, but are relying on a topographical map in order to find the depths we seek, but it's tough to confirm without any electronics. Also, what lures work great for panfish?
@lamontgray60157 жыл бұрын
Mr. Tbag I'm just getting into it for the first time time myself but I heard from vet ice fisherman that a Swedish pimple number 2 with a minnow head on it is great I got one in pink but still waiting for ice to get thick enough
