Dear Andy, it's 6.01 AM over here in The Netherlands. We just moved. Based on your video's, i purchased a Siemens Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, and a Siemens Washing Machine. Both have METAL hinges and sensor technology. Now i must say.... we come from a really humble home with electronics dating from the nineties, last century. Now... i can activate by app, our dryer, our airconditioning and heater (heat pump based) and our thermostat for the main building. I made friends with the owner of our local electronics shop. We talked and talked when he came to install the goods. I feel blessed beyond measure. Grateful am i for your content Sir. In fact.... i might just fly in one of these days to come and buy something from you! Oh i know!!! I could ask a dear friend of mine, who is a Movie Director, to fetch up his crew and film the whole thing. "When Andy meets Dan." Could be a great vlog. Keep up the good work. I have this exact model and colour in the 9kg variant and have had it for about a year and a half and in my opinion its an ok dryer but its also very sensitive because if you dry a bigger load or a bulkyer load it tends to push the door the tinyest bit which makes it stop and you have to go back to start it again.And also on some smaller loads it dosnt dry them fullly even on cottons extra dry so i find myself using time dry option quite regulary.so in my opinion i give it a 5/10 as it does have quite a few flaws yet it does it job.
