They have definitely gotten a bunch of new trains since my last visit in 2008-09. Quite nice!! I found that a good train journey food were the pista or kaju biscuits (pistachio or cashew) would get me through long rides that had no food service! One of my favourite things to do on the trains is look out of the open doorways, such awesome views! Happy Travels

india has been investing a lot in their railways since 2010, we have semi high speed train sets (vande bharat, gatimaan express and tejas express) and about 15 NEW MODERN METRO SYSTEMS. a bullet train line is also under construction with help from japan. and we have new trains in general

Hey, when you come to delhi from jaipur, travel in AC double decker express, Train no: 12985, this train has very less stops and take only 4 hours and 30 mints, Train timing is morning 6 Am from jaipur junction.

Try to see gurugram(gurgaon) and Noida which are satelite cities of new delhi. Also see aerocity which is close to the airport and gurugram. Also, you haven't yet tried out the most exotic and best foods in Old Delhi mostly had during breakfast. there are agencies which can take you on a food tour in Delhi. And if you like non veg you should try out the butter chicken, tandoori chicken, seekh kebabs, shami kebabs and other endless varities of veg and non veg. Also don't forget to try out the unlimited variety of sweet dishes that India has. Also, each city/state has its own speciality of food which you can explore.

@@kuldeeps90 development in the present government is definitely religion based,they deliberately promote and invest in religious sites while dehumanising Mughal architectures like taj,Agra fort etc changing the names of places etc You only travel to the city once in a while but i live here(shahganj area) since 2002, yamuna is highly polluted,no clean drinking water everyone buys water from ro plant,roads and highways are full of potholes, air pollution is very high,can't even mention land pollution because it's the fault of the civilians themselves. The only good thing is the upcoming metro project which is also made at the expense of international airport
