I am not here to comment about his cars or what he is saying. one thing I am sure he loves RC cars. Anyone getting into this hobby I just want to say it does not cost more as you can get cheaper ready to run proper RC cars which comes with a proper radio, esc (electronic speed controller) and a good engine. Always easy to start with the easier and cheaper options like electric off road buggy so u can drive virtually anywhere but if u plan to go for the nitro version (people say petrol car) which runs on glow fuel (nitro fuel) then you also need to tune the engine from time to time and the only down side is that u need patience but the good side is you learn a lot about engine & clutch tuning and a great sounding car with a nice smell of nitro fuel which you will soon get addicted with. What ever you choice (electric or nitro) you will have great fun but don’t get so excited and buy only a basic car and try and see how much is your passion before getting into more expensive cars if you have the money to spare. Another way to find out if you want to get into this hobby is to try your friends car If he has one or go to local track events which is slowly happening in India. Getting fuel is not difficult in India now as lot of hobby shops can get them. Google it and I am sure u will find one. Nitro cars - buggy or any off-road will run a top speed of 80km/hr and electric off-road will even run faster. The same can be said for on-road cars as well. Remember...speed is not everything. Start with a slower model in the 1/10 or 1/8 scale model which is pretty much the standard size. When you need speed you can upgrade your nitro engine or electric motor with high amp ESC with more amp battery that can be supported by your ESC. If you want to buy a on-road than you need to find out if you have a good road surface to drive on otherwise off-road is the way to go as you can drive anywhere... hope this info helps.
