India named the landing point as 'Shivshakti' point to cement it's arrival on the moon's surface. This is an unprecedented move which show's lndia's greatness in the space science, engineering and exploration. This is a remarkable stuff. Congratulation to Team ISRO 🇮🇳🌕🇮🇳

Massively historic achievement for ISRO and India as a whole. Great recap of the flight phase of the Chandrayaan 3 mission Tom, hoping for some interesting scientific insights from this unexplored region of the Moon in the next couple of weeks.

Yes, the world is awaiting data from the probe. And to know that the project cost just $75m as opposed to hundreds of millions for western made craft. What an achievement.

@@tomduneofficialactually one of the British Journalist talk about to stop British aid to India and another Journalist demanded all the aid back from India which was really ridiculous statement. I mean for such historical moments, they were criticizing UK's past aid programs to India. Anyway I appreciate your enthusiasm about this mission. You are certainly not the type of UK person who is still having colonial hangover. Young minds of Britishers are like you and that's what connects the space community across the world.

India have a lot of drive, good budget, good launchers and good tech so will keep the primary powers on their toes in the current space race. I expect good things going forward from India and Japan in particular. The upcoming certification for manned missions from this same launcher from India looks very interesting indeed.

@@AbhishekKumar-nn6fj Stop it dude. Get some perspective. Americans are actually that far ahead of the rest of the world when it comes to aerospace technology. Have you seen their metallurgy and their CFD solvers? Have you seen their advanced ceramics technology? If you can't acknowledge the pioneer, you can't become a pioneer yourself. If we Indians want to compete with the Americans one day, we need to be clear what we are up against. Trying to find convenient conspiracy theories is how one lands at the same level as flat earthers. Thankfully for India, you are only the second Indian I've found who actually believes in the conspiracy theory about Apollo.

@@death_parade here comes another western lapdog, still dizzy with the colonial hangover.. bruhh.. I'm not questioning what's actually true.. I'm totally okay, rather happy with d fact that NASA still leads the space domain.. No Doubt abt it.. their Curiosity and Ingenuity missions of MARS was commendable which I do appreciate..but then what's wrong is WRONG. I've plenty of reasons to believe what I said n its not speculation. I appreciate ppl but not blindly but critically unlike u.. who has still not developed a critical mindset. That's who we in India call a "Andhbhakt" !!
