Sir, it was really a good thing to do. But Don't u think, it will ultimately increase our Dependency on Trees. And Cutting that much of Tree 🌲 is also not good. We should find a New thing/Substance through which we can make it More Eco- friendly. Plz... Before 1957, all stores in India were Zero wastage stores...It was possible then... Expecting Whole India to adopt and encourage these activities..

Till 15-20yrs back we used to have paper packing groceries, barely few plastic bottles and plastic packing. I used to give list and cloth bag, they tie all lentils in newspapers and tie a rope . Slowly each of those shops shifted to plastic bags 😔

I became very excited when I saw a small refill station in one of the pharmacy’s here in the Philippines. They only have dishwashing soap, dog shampoo and Car washing soap but I think it’s a great start. It helps me stay positive and driven to continue in my quest to help Mother Earth when I see other like individuals doing such great things.

Hi , आपका आइडिया बहुत ही अच्छा हैं । इंडिया से बाहर ऐसे बहुत स्टोर्स हैं लेकिन यहां ऐसे स्टोर्स खोलना बहुत हिम्मत के काम हैं। मैं भी काफी समय से ऐसे स्टोर को खोलने का सोच रही थी। लेकिन मेरे छोटे शहर में ना तो ज्यादा लोग इस कॉन्सेप्ट को समझेंगे और ये स्टोर्स के सामान उन्हे थोड़े महंगे लग सकते हैं। दूसरा प्लास्टिक कैरी बैग उनके लिए ग्लास जार कैरी करने से ज्यादा ईजी लगता हैं। बहुत ही कम लोग मदर नेचर का ख्याल रखने का सोचते हैं। Hats off to you

I think so we can even use earthen pots and Clay utensil for packaging instead of glass as it is too a waste as once broken then take years to get decompose as it is also non biodegradable product .

Just going back to local kirana stores would also do it. There is no need to package every concept like Americans do. Just take your old jars to kirana stores and use "boris" for grains and what not. Zero waste is what India was, go back to basics. The more I read and experience zero waste with shiny marketing here in USA, the more I remember how my Nani used to live ....

Your organisation can help farmers of Maharashtra with packaging and marketing... Don't limit your self to only selling... Try to learn anything from A to Z... Divide your areas... And most importantly ... What I see... Is India as organic food industry worldwide...if we can improve exports and processing... Kolhapur has a lot of potential in this area...
