@@striker44 Howdy 😎👍🏻. The Months of October-November are the most festive season in Incredible India 🇮🇳. The weather is better and no more monsoons (rain). Visit Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur in the state of Rajasthan. Go up to the Himalayas in the states of Uttarakhand a d Himachal Pradesh to places like Shimla, Manali, Parvati Valley, Mussourie and so on. Go to Amritsar in Punjab to the Golden Temple. Above all experience Diwali 🪔🪔🪔 in November either in Varanasi, Udaipur, Amritsar, Jaipur or whichever place you hear is good to be in for that date. I'll be there.

Ben just finished watching this vlog. Do you have the 5-year-multiple-entry tourist e-visa? So if I gotcha ya' right, even with that visa one can only stay in India 🇮🇳 for a maximum of 180 days during a calendar year. On another note I got a place in Rishikesh (not in the touristy area) for 4 weeks for $235 US 🇺🇸 with a 83 kbps internet connection. It's a studio apartment and smaller than the one you showed. I booked on Airbnb for October to November. I'm hitting Varanasi in November and especially for Diwali 🪔🪔🪔. It's amazing there. Good to know you've got a good jobby job that pays the bills. Mine is teaching English online to Colombians 🇨🇴. I've been a teacher for 24 years.

I have 10 year but rules are the same and you can only stay 180 days in one calendar year. Sounds like you gotta good deal (but will see once you arrive and test the speed yourself 😎)

Visa issues are a real hassle. I have an x visa so i dont have to meet the 180 day limit, or yearly limits. A more pressing issue is residency for tax. That kicks in after 60 days, if you have been in india for 365 days total in the past 5 or 7 years. You have to pay indian yax on your global income irrespective of whether you pay tax on another country, and you can be stopped leaving the country if you dont have a tax return. The policy on how long between visas is ever changing. I know a lot of long term residents that leave for a few days and come back. It may have to do with how many prior visas you had and why you are in india. Not sure. Enjoy your trip.
