garud force aren't really a top tier SF. They were created only for airbase security.

Garud are not an elite force. Technically they are just security guards of airbases. You can gauge their competence from the fact that Indian Army tried to rope them in counter-insurgency ops in Kashmir but had to abort the plans soon after Garud took casualities, that too against local militants (who are neither well trained nor well armed). I remember Garud suffered 2 fatal casualties in Hajin, Bandipora while trying to eliminate a local militant Nasrullah. Next month that they took casualities again in same area. After that they were shunted out.

29:23 Mohak sir, I am sure you have taken best care ensure authenticity of information but CDS is not the only way to join the Special Forces. UPSC conducts NDA & NA exam ( eligibility is 12th) and CDS as you mentioned for Graduates and AFCAT conducted by IAF/CDAC. These exams are officer entries but you can also join Special forces as a soldier. *You will have first join the Army/Armed forces to join the SF* So even Agnipath is an option. Btw, Territorial Army is different you cannot be converted to regular from there.

They were a key part in the operations conducted in Sri Lanka. They are also deployed in Kashmir fighting along side the RR and CRPF. They are deployed in the Indian ocean region and around to conduct anti piracy operations. They came into lime light during the 26/11 attack on the Taj hotel Mumbai. Amazing knowledge bro! My Father, COLONEL in Counter Intelligence Unit, took us for vacation in Chakrata for a week and half. I met many SFF soldiers and officers, and one of them was coursemate of my father from 92" batch of IMA. He told many stories about the mission he went on with his team. And let me tell you, it was as thrilling to hear about them as it is remembering those stories!!!! I love My country and army🇮🇳🫡😎

Excellent video! Just one correction, NSG's main special operations team is 51 SAG which has 100% army personnel. The other units derived from police and paramilitary take care of VIP security.

21:19 want correct, NSG officers not only comes from CAPF and Police but Army as well. Most of the Army Commissioned Officers are from Army and most of NCOs are from CAPF.

I would have liked to know more about some of the operations conducted in Srilanka during the 80s. Those were some of the most harrowing experiences for our armed forces and commandos. I think an entire battalion was wiped out in the Jaffna university mission. The LTTE was a different beast altogether. I'm glad that they have dwindled. The more we learn about our mistakes, lesser the chance of repeating them. Anyway, great video by Mohak ( as usual). The research done by him and his team is mind boggling.

( 1) NSG में Indian Army से ऑफिसर एवं soldiers आतेहैं और वो SAG का पार्ट बनते हैं। Central Police फोर्स से आए हुऐ लोग SRG का पार्ट बनते हैं। ( 2) Para SF में जाने के लिए NDA entry भी available हैं। और graduation के बाद CDS entry होती हैं। ।।।।।।। कृपया चेक करे। Overall very good video।
