People were making fun of that same kl Rahul for getting out in weird ways in the ind A vs aus a series. Man, people have a very short memory nowadays. These same batters were getting criticised yesterday , but today they're Don Bradman all of a sudden. People like you are nothing but clowns.
@mayankdewli10104 күн бұрын
That's how it works. Recent form is important. Rohit hasn't shown any application in last three test series he has played. He slogs a few boundaries and then gets out. Clearly, he's on a decline and doesn't look hungry to succeed in test cricket. He was a different batsman when he made runs in England. Rahul was in horrible form before this test and his average of 33 after 50 tests clearly invites criticism. But obviously if he shows the determination to grind it out then you have to acknowledge that. Nothing is permanent. If you score runs people praise you and if you don't people will criticise you. @@Sunny-sc5vq

The last day of cricket India played before this test was the day they got whitewashed by a team that hadn't defeated them once in past 40 years in tests at home. Come here and India is bossing Australia around in a classic Australian type pitch. There's a whole lot of nuance that doesn't get mentioned behind this and this is just 2nd day of 1st test in a 5 match series but this level kind of turnaround was unexpected. BGT is on.
@Sunny-sc5vq4 күн бұрын
I don't think India losing against New Zealand was due to India's lack of talent or application of that as much as it was the absolute freaking garbage wicket that was prepared in the 2nd and 3rd test matches. India fell in their own trap. I mean you've one the goats in bumrah and you prepare a pitch where you don't need him to bowl, make that make sense. India is a very good team, and Rohit is a very good captain, but we need someone who can go to them and tell them that the decision some of the decisions they make are absolutely rubbish.

Aus selectors need to include the young talents such as sam konstas, fergus o neil, xavier bartlett, sam fanning, jason sangha, jordan Buckingham, michell perry, todd murphy and some more others like these. The only main reason why aussies are losing this test is that a lot of players in their playing 11 are not in form and they have not even played the Sheffield shield also they did not play a single match and this bgt happened for them after a long time. I felt like the bowlers did a good job to keep the intensity up. The openers were just playing really well and weren't allowing them selves to be phased by a successive maidens. The first hour of the 3rd session was really really tight. Really good bowling. But it's very difficult to keep up that intensity. All part of the game. Wickets can fall in clumps in the first hour.

The msg to Bumrah was to ensure that he opens up Boot#@ of all the opposition batsmen this series.

It’s the toss. We (India) got lucky that we got out at 150. If Rahul was given not out and grinded out and India was 250 all out first day. Australia would have had the best of conditions and they would have been 200-2 or 3. Wicket was so different post lunch. Ofcourse all credit to Bumrah making the most of great bowling conditions.

This is how good pitch need to be, swing on first day. Good batting pitch on day 2 and 3. Start spin from end of day 4 and 5!

India looks like would play better in these pitches than making turners and dustbowls😅

Just wait. Remember the world cup. Australia famously underperformed. Then won when it mattered. Marvellous bowling by Bumrah. Has flashes of the great Malcolm Marshall. Your shows are very good. Also Mr Kimber on another channel. Good crickets needs you. Many thanks. Hari

Loss in India to NZ is actually a boon especially before a big series like this. Hope they continue this form for the remaining tests..

I think pat Cummins is past his prime as a fast bowler. He doesn't look threatening at all. He was totally different in 2018 and 2022. Same for Lyon and Smith and Usman.

1 test match doesn't make him a bad bowler
@opalruby134 күн бұрын
Since becoming captain he’s often more focussed on rest and being able to play every match in a series than being at his best for the game he’s playing right now. So he hasn’t played a red ball game since March and it shows.
@mayankdewli10104 күн бұрын
I'm not talking about 1 test. He's been on a decline which is normal for any fast bowler. He's not the same bowler. Happens to everyone. It's the same with kohli and many others. @@gokularora965

On aserious note, I've never seen weather have this much impact on a days play. Same pitch but completely different outcomes most probably driven by the weather

australia needs to be flexible in their thinking and approach, half of the time they dont accept the strength of the opposition, they have to get out of the zone of HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN, and play rash cricket as reaction and in frustration, india is a strong side, accept that, australia should devise strategies rather bat/bowl with a delusional mindset, "no one can dominate us at home", accept your weaknesses then devise ways to counter your opponent
