Thank you Sumit taking my memories back to vizag shipyard that you started with it in this video. my father used to work as tug boat mechanical engineer. i studied in HSL(Hindustan Shipyard Ltd) school, college and now working in USA. i used to visit the HSL every year for dashehra and gets wow factor by looking into the giant ships gets built over there. Very good timelapse of the voyage especially the backgounrd music was soothing.

I worked in merchant navy for 10 years. I miss the adventures I had onboard .. but just hate missing those past memories remaining under constant marine seclusion from outside world.. I missed the childhood of my sons.. & cudnt be there when my family needed me. Even to my parents & all dears n nears I cudnt help them out in thier last phase of life... I curse this kind of job.. Money isnt everything... I resigned 09 years ago

I had a favorite aunt who told us stories of her vacations she would take, booking passage on cargo ships, back in the 1950s...
