Hello and welcome to Episode 1 from the Vietnam series.
Vietnam is one of the MOST affordable places for Indians to visit and there is just so much to explore!! If you stick by my itinerary, you will be able to cover maximum places in the least time (forget resting lol..!)
In this episode I will take you across my first city of Vietnam - Hanoi. It is the country's capital and I felt there was no better place to start exploring Vietnam than from Hanoi.
Below are some important details and info to screenshot before you plan to visit Hanoi:
VIETNAM VISA FOR INDIANS:
The OFFICIAL site to apply for an E-visa - evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/en_...
This is their Govt. website so technically the official one. There are many other non-official ones who will promise you a fast visa but charge you a lot! Here, you have to pay $25 / visa (Rs 1991)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The website promises visa in 3 working days, however pls keep a buffer of at least 1 to 1 and a half week before your travel date. We believed the website and applied very end moment, and received the visa few hours before flying!
BOOKING A FLIGHT TO VIETNAM:
- Vietjet flies directly from a lot of Indian cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata & more to cities like Hanoi
- Hot meals are served on the flight & Indian and vegetarian-only meals are also available on-board
- There's an option to book an economy or a SkyBoss ticket (business class)
SkyBoss Benefits:
Priority check-in
Access to business lounge of your home airport
Priority boarding
