Ben thanks for this vlog that will help a lot of would be first time visitors to India. Your video on how to apply for the India e-visa definitely helped me out big time. I got my 5-year tourist e-visa as an American. THANK YOU AMIGO! Anyone interested in India, WATCH BEN's PREVIOUS VIDEO ON GETTING AN E-VISA. Ben you're doing part of what I'm gonna do.on my travels to India. I'm in India for 6 months and then fly up to Nepal from late March to late May. Then, I'll probably fly down to Sri Lanka for 3 more months before heading back to India in late September 24'. Avoid the extreme heat for the Indian sub continent by traveling late September to early March. Go to the beautiful Himalayas between April to late June to enjoy the mountains without snow or freezing weather. Ben you're heading back in January. I recommend Bhubaneshwar and Jagannat Puri in January and February. I'll be there during those months. I visited them briefly in 2019. Later Ben.

Nice video Ben. i will add a couple of tips. Pay attention to the air quality of places before going. Delhi was very nice in September when i was there but was unlivable in November during Diwali. It was like being in the apocalypse or something. Delhi's dark months are usually in the winter. It is a great city at other times. Another tip, and it goes for everywhere in the world, is to avoid people who approach you on the streets. They are generally up to no good. Finally drop most of your stereotypes of India. It offers the finest travel experience ever.

Thank you for making tour guide for foreigners to travel in India. You are our ambassador and I thank you for that. One request is. Pls use correct map of India, it is something which we can't appreciate. Millions of people will watch this video in time to go, and all will see wrong map. If you can't find correct map, you can simply edit an Indian flag 🇮🇳 on disputed part of Jammu And Kashmir.

Last time I visited India, it was extremely difficult to get Uber in Mumbai. The drivers keep canceling the ride. And, unlike in the US, the Uber drivers in India want the customer to pay cash.

Most importantly, be aware of Indian men and don't trust them easily. This is for single female travelers. As an Indian and having travelled across the length and breadth of the country, this is an important point. Not all areas have those types of men. Most women friendly states in India are - Goa, Himachal Pradesh, the hilly states, Rajasthan, Kerala, Sikkim and North Bengal, North East States. South India is generally safer for women but the people are also very traditional and patriarchal male attitudes may rub you the wrong way. Its just some men who make it a bad experience and majority of Indian men are polite and respect women. I am currently traveling in South East Asia and the north east states of India have quite a similar vibe and culture.
