India & U.S. Vs China Over Dalai Lama? The Cold War Playing Out Over The Tibetan Spiritual Leader

Group of U.S. lawmakers arrived in India last month to meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and said that U.S. would soon sign a bill that aims to press China to resolve the Tibet dispute. In response, China hit out at U.S. and said that it would take "resolute measures to firmly defend its sovereignty and development interests". What does this mean for India? Would U.S.' visit create a bigger rift between U.S. and China? Watch HT's full interview with Dilip Sinha to know more.

China renames Arunachal pardesh and ladhak. China also rewrote the history of Ladhak and Arunachal pardesh as they like. In conclusion, China has a long history of mystery and deceiving people shamelessly. Most importantly, Freedom of Tibet is not only beneficial for Tibetans and the USA but also for India as well. Because Tibet plays a very essential role in the safety and security of India. From any angle, if we analyze it critically, Freedom of Tibet is as much important to India as for Tibetans. Off course USA benefits from that also. If we think practically, nobody will fight for the benefits of others only.

FOR INDIA that were never interest in TIBETAN CAUSE OR SITUATION now this "Why,all of a sudden,USA is taking this measures or why tibet is now at the forfront" INDIA becuase staying INDIFFERENT to TIBET CAUSE doesn't understand all these people tibetan or USA- Officials in White house took many many years, they have working so hard to put forward the tibet issue,it became successful, not like all of a sudden USA Policy has changed because of certain circumstance, these people have working since 10 years, now bear product. Even one policy was passed during President Trump, INDIA didn't know that? Obcourse these kind of things always surprise India.SAD that despite HIs Holiness been residing in India since 1959,INDIA has not supported nor taken any measures to recognize tibet status. India, blames one another and indirectly supports CCP. Since 1959,Indian Govt has given a Guest Asylum in the name of "REFUGEES" that requires ever tibetan to renew their Refugee Certificate every 6 months, this documents hinders any tibetan graduate students from getting employed in any field of Indian Corporate or Organizations. Tibetans since 1959 till 2016,have no right to cast their votes also. Many many tibetans Graduate are unemployed or helps their parents in selling sweater or work at an Exile govt. Its time now, INDIA should support Tibet and recognize tibet as an Independent state. Its high time now.

Thank you for the great interview, but it is so shocking to learnt in the end of the interview that the speaker said that people should read the book to know about Tibet and he doesn’t see the issue if Tibet is independent country or under China. That is so kind of mean and selfish view, if I am not wrong.

During Tibet's push for independence, no country provided the needed support, leaving Tibetans with no choice but to pursue autonomy. This strategy shift aimed to gain international support without damaging their diplomatic relations with China. As at that time world leader prioritized economic ties with China, Tibet had to adapt its policy to ensure its voice reached the international community.

I do not understand this country, perhaps due to its culture or traditions. When people in this country talk about things, they never consider the possibilities. It seems like everything is based 100% on their dreams and wishes, with no evidence or facts needed. For them, once they talk about something, it is as good as done to them, without any thought on how to realize it or detailed plans to implement it. They talk just for the sake of talking, and this habit exists in all their ways of doing things, which has no impact in the real world.

India was a geological name before British Raj, even inside British Raj, British divided it into many different part, for example, there were 562 tribes, British just called them "Princely States", and basically let them to manage their own affairs, and also to some remote area, British never bothered to control, such as to South Tibet, even British drawn a McMahon line, but never really implemented it, it was India after independence, sent Indian army, led by Major Bob invaded South Tibet and occupied Tawang on Feb 14 1951, and forced local Tibetan government out,

A wise Tibetan spiritual teacher said that when people reach a certain level of education, they become very stubborn about learning new things and insist on what they have learned. In fact, one should spend one's whole life learning, updating and correcting. It is usually said that "knowledge is power," but most of the time, a little knowledge is more dangerous.

Karl Marx said in 1853 " Indian society has no history at all, at least no known history. What we call its history, is but the history of the successive intruders who founded their empires on the passive basis of that unresisting and unchanging society. The question, therefore, is not whether the English had a right to conquer India, but whether we are to prefer India conquered by the Turk, by the Persian, by the Russian, to India conquered by the Briton."

Two Indians' anti-China feeling was clearly revealed in the interview. It reflected also Indian government policy of jealousy bitterness hatred directed towards China. A lot of what Sinha said was outright lies and a distortion of history. Remember what Modi told the world after the Galwan clash: No Chinese soldiers were in Indian soil, which could only mean Indian soldiers were on the Chinese side of LAC. Tibet is no business of India, which has accepted Tibet as an integral part of China. Do not interfere in the domestic issues of China. China may have to respond likewise and India has its own problems: the oppressed 60M Dalits, the 60M Sihk Khalistanis, the 120M Muslims, the Nagalanders, the occupied state Sikkim... Sinha talked about Muslim Mosques inY unnan with Chinese architecture. Under Modi rule, the Muslim mosque at Ayodhya was bulldozed and razed to the ground, and in its place a very elaborate Hindu temple now stands... Other than Lord Ram claining his birth right, there are other Indian gods looking for their birth place. And Muslims should be rightly concerned.

India was not a country, but a geological name for the area in today's proper. India was a collection of fragmented kingdoms before British rule, and that the British Empire united them into a nation. The British Raj, or Crown rule, lasted from 1858 to 1947, and the region under British control was commonly called India. Before the British, the region was ruled by numerous dynasties, including the Gupta Empire in the 4th to 6th centuries CE. The Maurya Empire collapsed in 185 BCE, and the Shunga Empire was formed in the north and north-east of the subcontinent. Some say that the British and European scholars proclaimed that India was not a nation, but a conglomeration of nations. Winston Churchill said that “India is a geographical term. It is no more a united nation than the equator”. The British Empire in India began to develop between 1700 and 1900, and the first British in India came for trade, not territory. The name "India" has etymological roots in the Indus River, which was called "Sindhu" in Sanskrit. Another popular name for the country is Hindustan, which means "land of the Indus" in Persian.
