During rainy season, the Chinese dam will hold the excess rainfall which otherwise would flow down to the sea. During dry season, China will release the water which will benefit everyone downstream.

WORLD LARGEST DAM IN TIBET. 60 GIGAWATT EQUALS 60 000 MW. 60 1000MW STATIONS. INDIA SHOULD BUILD LARGE RESEVOURS TO ABSORB THE WATER IN THE CASE THOSE CHINESE DAMS GET BUSTED. ONLY WAY TO GET THE CHINESE TO LISTEN. NOT SURE THEY WOULD ANYWAY. THEN SPEAK STRAIGHT TO THEM. TAKE UP THEIR OTHER MEGA DAM IN THESE TALKS. THEY HAVENT FIGURED IT ALL OUT. Build, they will build and your only concern is to plead that the release from the dam should be controlled by China. The problem with the West is their inability to understand what China can do or achieve, merely using their ability as the yard stick to gauge others. This could be reflected by the way France handled the Mekong River with Japan based on the Mekong Sub-Regional Commission, saying China had nothing to do with the Mekong River! Then China got Laos to work together to build 3 dams across the upper reach of the Mekong River! And the said Commission said, How come we were not consulted over the construction of the dams!!!
