Yes but in Indian muslim aur indian Christian wedding we can see a mixed of their culture with indian culture. Like haldi , mehendi etc. Arabic muslims or Western Christian don't do it. So basically when you say indian culture it's referring a culture born and flourish in India and this is hindu jain budh and sikh culture and interestingly 4 of them quite similar.

Hindu wedding is far more different than other weddings however similar it might look. similarities are due to Indian subcontinent having influence of hindu culture. rest globally muslim xtians wedding are extremely different.

There is an important difference you have missed out Mayoji. The marriage is actually seen as a bond between two families in stead of being a relationship between only two persons. That's why so many people are invited as guests.

In fact if something tlhappens to parents ,nits relatives who comeforward to take of children. Altleast that is my parents exp. As to hey we're always a helping hand to atleast 4 relatives of ours. In Japan what I know from japanese news,.many older people leave alone. And whenn they die , govt informs children. By Indian standard It's a sad state

Here in maharashtra we'd either wear a paithani or nauvaari. If it's Paithani it'd almost always be in Violet or Pink colour (my mum wore Pink coloured paithani♡) while for traditional Nauvaari it'd be usually green in colour but people here are now going for a north indian look so they customize their outfits. And some also do a bit western style like- walking on aile, holding e/o's hands. A Christian wedding style gown but coloured, usually the material is a lot sharara/lehenga inspired. Or that's how atleast I saw rich folks around me do it. Weddings are getting a lot creative here these days ngl
