It's not bad, but it certainly isn't good. Rear sounds at mil power are blown out, and the cockpit perspective is way too muddy-sounding with nothing important audible. The flyby sounds are nonexistent, but it isn't surprising; hoping that Echo 19 can help them step up their game like they are in the F-35. Just proves that it's possible, given the right motivations and priorities. Thanks for the vid!

What tool should I use to do my own fly by camera shots? Freeware & payware if not possible otherwise

I use Nvidia shadowplay which is native with an RTX (as far as I know and I don't know much in the PC space)

Flyby sounds are a bit lacking imo but what ive used so far its a fantastic addition to the sim.

The startup sound seems ok. The flyby sound on the other hand is not great. That was far better in FSX and p3d for all planes.

Everything apart from the flyby sound spot on to me. I am not sure the sound engine MSFS uses works well for any flypast though unfortunately.

Oh yeah there are some absolutely fantastic flybys, just not IFE forte atm but I'm sure they will improve

@@CaptainKenobi this is Dino, owner and lead designer for IndiaFoxtEcho. Problem with fly-by sounds is simply that they are not properly documented in the SDK, nor there is any example on how to do them in the sample files. There are several companies in the market that have a better knowledge than we do on the WWise packages for MSFS, and are able to generate amazing fly-by sounds. Our problem, working with them (which of course we have tried to do) is mostly related to development constraints, as in our products there is a continuous interaction with the code (to generate copilot voices for example) which makes it cumbersome to work with external vendors. We are, of course, working on potential solutions. We should also add that, as a company, we are mostly focused on simulation realism rather than creating fly-by videos, so we admit that we spend way more R&D time in the aircraft system than on developing fly-by sounds - we understand this may be a HUGE part of the fun for some users, as some may just want to sit at the edge of the runway and see the plane fly past... we apologize to those users, and we will try to get better.

Not sure why I didn't get this notification but anyway. Thx a lot for taking the time to reply and explain why this is harder to do for you. It makes sense. Also maybe I'm not your best advocate because it's part of content creation to showcase every aspect and one of them is flybys, which I also really appreciate and make a lot in my shorts, but regarding a more normal use of the aircraft it's a rather small cons in a middle of a lot of pros you manage to accomplish with this new add-ons ;) I would be very happy to try make amazing trailers for your upcoming product, if you like too, please feel free to contact me (discord or mail). Agreed it's a total abortion sound wise I even told them that on their Facebook page and yiu know what they said after asking people to leave constructive criticism? They told me not to buy it then if I felt that way. Very very disappointing. But no one else is speaking out about it to them I've only seen me si far.

Every video I watch of this puts me right off it the sound is absolutely shit in my opinion. Forster of all the APU startup is louder than the actual engines wich even CG aviator who's an ex tornado pilot says the same. The tick over engine sound is almost non existent and the full on after burner sound is just pathetic. I've already moaned to the developer about it 4 times now and it would seem they don't give a shit. They told everyone to give criticism that will be looked in to but they told me if you dont like it don't buy it. Well you know what fxxk em I'm not going to now. They even said they were not happy with the sound either so it just shows how money grabbing they are if that's the case.

That's definitely a weakness of IFE but still a good aircraft imo. Unfortunately it's hard to find add-ons that check all the boxes.

I'm same, I'm just hoping the Just Flight GR1 is not put on the back burner now.
