I agree. It is like over-simplifying that any disability is God-given, when many other factors are involved. Very often (not always), homosexuality arises from the non-involvement of the earthly father (parent) in the early life of the person. Why attribute it to the heavenly father?

Cardinal Oswald knows which side of slice is buttered. Jesus loved and forgave sinners and commanded them to sin no more. These men, as if out of compassion, want to love the sinners and encourage them to continue to live in sin. They blame God for their orientation just like Adam blamed God for giving him Eve.

Of course we must be compassionate and understanding towards homosexuals. But my doubt is that are we not suppose to bring them to a life of holiness. To tell them the Truth in love. Through our Bible says repeatedly that homosexuality is no homosexual people will enter the kingdom of God

I wish the good Cardinal had made it clear that God would not condemn the very tendency he gives. To say that God has given this tendency to some and He also condemns it, is to say that God is playing games. And that's really sad.

Understanding and compassion -- that's fine. But Jesus also said "sin no more." It is disastrous to souls to lovingly accept people in their sin but not exhort them to repent. This attitude will send people down the pipe to hell. Pope Francis is seen cosying up to all types of dubious characters, never telling them to repent.

We need to pray for any persons having such tendencies... homosexuality is a sin bcoz Jesus never rebuked an existing norm (that it was a sin).. however, just like masterbation or pornography, if a person is struggling with it, we cannot close doors to such people.. the curch is 1st for sinners and then for righteous people.. some people will be eunuchs for God's kingdom... it is a burden i would struggle with, if i had this tendency.... Homosexuality is considered disordered bcoz it doesnt yield a fruit of union, just like heterosexual relations and in Genesis, God blessed the man and woman and said ,,, be fruitful and multiply..

As a traditional catholic. I am a Latin Traditional catholic. As per thevtraditions of Catholic church, Homosexuality is not natural. Even the Bible says the A man and woman can only form a matrimonial union... nowhere is it said man, semi man woman or semi woman or whatever nonsense is said.

Brother, i am confused with the video you made. I understand giving a pastoral care and love but how do you think, as a Christian, one should counsel Homesexual, isnt a Homesexuality is Sin, hence counseling and pastoral care should reveal such a thing. Homosexuality or Same Sex attraction in itself is not a Sin - But engaging in a Homosexual act is ! In this video I am saying the first step should be talking about Sin. We eventually get there - but first step should be nurturing a good friendship

How could a person be an adulterer without the sin of adultery hence a person how could a person be a Homosexual without the sin of Homosexuality. If Homosexuality is not sin then why to condemn Homosexual ? Isn't Homosexuality itself a sin generated or performed due to human sinful nature ?
