Mr. Mahesh Kale had said in an interview that a old lady who attended his show in US, touched his feet and said that she felt being in "Pandharpur chi Vaari" after he had sung an Abhang (she was unable to attend after moving to US). The reverberations that Maheshji creates with his mesmerizing voice accompanied by Kaushikiji's saath is just pure divine!! Pandharinath Maharaj Ki Jai !!

My regrets that I do not understand the languages of this beautiful musical composition by these two great artists. I believe that it is in Raag Malkauns. Kaushiki was singing one octave higher! Which is the general practice in Indian classical music, unlike Western, where there are dedicated voices like Base, Baritone, Tenor and Alto, Contralto, Soprano for specific parts of a song.

Not at all tough for Kaushiki. Different styles of Singing ( Gharana)and Marathi is not her natural language. I think she accompanied him without any preparation but her Marathi pronunciations r perfect. Ofcourse she is familiar with this song. Both r Great Great Great Singers!
