idk if you've been watching the series yet, but the first clip is Sheldon's sister. Raj can't talk to women unless he drinks alcohol so he walks away. Then he walks back and takes a flyer he noticed earlier about a drug trial for anxiety meds.

The equations that appear on the white boards throughout the show are real physics and math equations. They had a physics consultant for the show to make sure they were not putting gibberish on the white boards and to make sure the characters at least sound like they know about physics.

Sadly, there were no subtitles when Raj was singing in Hindi. I'd love o know the actual translation... And, "That was all she wrote..." classic! As much as I love Raj, I'm glad he and Penny didn't really have sex because Penny truly loves Leonard.

Raj has selective mutism (apparently stemming from anxiety) so he can't talk to or around women unless he's been drinking, which gets him into trouble. It doesn't apply to women he's related to, though. We don't understand the Hindi Raj uses in the lullaby, we just know it's a Hindi lullaby. Oftentimes, though, when Raj speaks in Hindi, he repeats what he just said in English for his American friends right after, so the audience isn't left out.
