@@Aneesood firstly, everyone's not as clever as you, so please bear with us 😄 Secondly, it's about REPORTING: the first question I would have asked is: wet or dry; (especially since aircraft supercruise on dry thrust). When people don't add a little 3-letter word (wet/dry), it seems to me that they either don't know, or they don't understand the difference/significance. Thirdly, each Raptor's engine produces 116 kN DRY, and the F135 produces 129 kN DRY. But of course you know all about that 😄

The high thrust engine collaboration is becoming another joke! Whatever news this channel is giving indicates utter confusion. Why wud AMCA even consider afterburner? That single factor wud disqualify it as a 5th gen combat jet. No point talking about 120 KN with afterburner. The discussion with a foreign OEM all along has focused on an engine that produces high dry thrust. And that is what it should be logically! Further...no point comparing with AL-31 of SU-30 MKI! Even with 5th generation fighters, all countries will still use 4.5 gen fighters as they are cheaper to operate, could move much faster and could also have a heavy payload. 5th generation fighters are like snipers used to take down SAM, Aircraft refuelers, bombers and AWACS. Most of the fighting might be carried out by 4.5 gen fighters.

My contributions to IDU: China's type 055 12000 tons destroyer has been in Indian Ocean cruising, India does not report it, type 055 now with 8 in service and 8 more in building, armed with YJ 21 hypersonic missiles range 1500 km, , YJ 18 anti ship missile, with range 600 km (compare to Brahmos 290 km) with total 112 VLS, India has 0 destroyer over 10000 tons. India only has 3 destroyers over 6000-7000 tons, China same class, 052D, with 26 in service and more in building.

The MRFA is going for the Su75 - I m sure . The 5th Gen platforms that are flying , F35 - is costly and is even more difficult to get without a US senate approval , even maintenance needs US senate approval. The Su57 is one thing which would only serve Russia it seems. It's good time we think about su57-M variant with new al51 super cruise engine. It is the only 5th gen jet that is battle tested now. In ukraine it is often seen flying and obliterating targets with next generation missiles and also shot ukraine su27. 72 Su57 in MRFA and we will also get full TOT which can be used in AMCA.

Better buy 2-3 Squadrons of Su- 57 & rest squadrons from AMCA. 4.5 gen tech can be achieved with TEDBF and Tejas variants, making the TEDBF a cost effective if IAF procures to along side the Navy. 2-3 squadrons SU57 will give deterrence and technical leap for pilots while AMCA will have room to learn and adapt. 4.5 gen tech is what we have with Tejas and also, TEDBF can solve by IAF procurement and not limiting it to the Navy, hence reduce cost. As 4.5 are cheaper and faster to produces in a mass conflict vs the 5th gen.

F35 was never offered by the US to India. (India's Russian origin S400 system is a threat to F35's security. It can be used by Russian technical support staff assisting Indian operators with S400 systems to observe the flight profile of F35 & identify weak spots). Even if it is offered somehow, most likely India will not buy it. We can't rely on the US, especially with fighter aircraft. The US may refuse to give spares, ammunition and support to F35 if there is a war with Pak. Remember what they did with GPS systems support during Kargil...
