Jet Powered UAV's is a good idea. But if One wants it's UAV to hover in the air for 24 to 48 hours for spying or for AWACS function, Turbo Propelled UAV can't be replaced.

I think AMCA should not be given a nuclear payload as it may lead to less air -air superiority of AMCA, instead they can upgrade Tejas to twin engines or new project specifically for air to ground superiority(like American FA -18) most importantly we need bombers(Manned/Unamanned) for long range payload delivery.

nuclear delivery can also be done with other airplane platforms including Su-35, F-15 etc etc. Waste of money. At 100 MM a pop for a fourth gen aircraft in this day and age with no TOT etc pure waste of money. Even with TOT its a waste of money

Rudram ARM is an offensive weapon requiring SEAD EW platforms to act like Wild Weasels to take the fight to the enemy and survive - with no IAF EW SEAD platforms still under DRDO development - so another exmaple of PSU making what they want or can make instead of what IAF requires...

MQ 9 and 414 engines both are not good choices by India in first place.Feku made things difficult by taking over defence arena in haste. US has every right to control the export of its engines and technology that shold not exchange hands to enemy. IAF should be given full freedom to choose that suits to its requirements.Updated SU 30 is a best options provided its manufacturing takes place in Nasik outlets.

Rafales are capable of taking nuclear bombs but if amca is also capable then it is a win win situation. Because AMCA is a 5th generation and its primary role is to take down defence systems of opponent by jammer or missiles. But if amca also has nuclear capabilities then it is more capable than rafales. Doubt arises then who needs rafales. Also orca can also be diverted to rafales role thus saving 25 billion. If HAL is ready to take the challenge. Fingers crossed.
