You dont know me, and youll probably never see this--- but this song legitimately saved my life. I was on the verge on the ending the insufferable pain and this song came on randomly and it changed my entire view of the situation i was in. From the bottom of my heart, truly and with my whole being... thank you to the entire bloodywood family. From across the world came my savior. "You can get back up if youre still alive...." struck a nerve and legitimately saved me. Thank you. I dont care if you never see this. I had to say it. Brett, from Desloge, MO - USA. Thank you again.

I can't listen to or talk about this song without tearing up. Karan, Jayant, Raoul, you are all so wonderful and I love that you teamed up to make this song and provide a means for 60 people to get help for mental illness. I avoided getting help for so long (but finally did 4 years ago), and I'm doing pretty well now, but I will be looking to this song and these lyrics to help me through the tough times. Thank you, thank you all

Hey, I used to be a therapist who worked with teens specifically too! I found this music back when I was still a therapist, and I agree. This song is so great for sharing with teenage metal-fans. So many of our clients relate best through music, and providing them with a positive message from such a banger of a song has been extremely helpful. Whether a client finds this song during a therapy session or out in the wild, I just love how encouraging it is. Music like this feeds the soul in all the best ways!

In India "HELP" is not just a word. I experienced this great Indian heart trough many visits in this beautiful country. Indian people are a treasure for this rotten egoistic world , a complete exeption . At every time when I had problems , at every busstand or railwaystation , when I was seriously sick , in every complicate situation I found , unexpected, a helping hand. And not for any profit, just for a "thank you". Indian people : Don't become "western" , keep your good heart. I' ll come back INDIA, this Corona-bullshit kept me from travelling, but this year, when the gods allow it, I will come back. Namaskar from Germany

THIS, is exactly what is beautiful about KZbin. The media works overtime to tell us who to hate, who to like & who to fear... but then we come here to KZbin and suddenly the world isn't such a big place after all. We sit in our room in some suburban city feeling alone and like there couldn't possibly be anyone out there who understands, but then we click on a video of some kid in Japan just killing it on his guitar listening to Ozzy or some band in India who are on fire singing about the struggles you battle daily in your own tiny corner. Music is universal and unites us all. We all have struggles. We all have pain. We all have happiness, love, loss. Let this video be a beacon of light, a constant reminder that YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Well said. There is no need to be alone. There is always someone for you if you open your eyes and take the hands extended to you. But there is also a need for us to not look away. Talk to the person if you see signs that one might suffer. It is not easy to spot, but it is sometimes clear to see for anyone willing to look.

"the battle against mental illness cannot be won decisively. It is a long campaign against an enemy who never tires, whose forces swell to twice their size whenever you look away. There's more to the quote at 03:36. It reads as follows: “In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger - something better, pushing right back.”

The message comes from the heart, brother. The violence and conflict of the mind comes out in a maelstrom of words and gives form to art. The message I get from this is LIVE, FIGHT for your happiness and conquer the darkness. It's a self motivational fight song in the struggle against depression and suicide.

It's also something you can perfectly observe on concerts and festivals. The people are loud, "aggressive" and energetic in front of the stage but deeply caring for each other, watching one another in the crowd / along the moshpits and in front of the bars of anywhere else off the stage. Metal is a very effective way to channel your inner energies, either positive OR negative and let them erupt surrounded by like-minded people who possibly go through similar stages and phases in their lives.... Horns up, my friends. This is the world I like to see much, much more...

Veteran as well. Not combat, but feel the despair often. Particularly with the callous and evil way the US departed from the AFG. Not that I didnt want to see us depart, but all of the stupid and evil ideas and actions that I was made to be a party to because I joined like ... four years before it all started. Like ... how could we do this shit to people ...?

As a severely anxious person, I'm extremely selective about leaving comments on KZbin, but a three-and-a-half-year-old video from such a positive, caring band should be safe enough. Even if you never read it, it feels like the least I can do to share (and boost you in the algorithm a little by commenting at all) how deeply this song affected me. A friend recently shared your music with me and I've since listened to all your music videos, and the only reason I haven't watched your documentary or other content yet is that it would require me to stop watching your music videos on repeat. I've recently lost a friend to suicide, and I regret that I didn't discover your music sooner because I would have loved to share this music video in particular (and all your music in general) with them. That said, as I continue to struggle with my own depression, anxiety, and isolation, "Jee Veerey" reminds me to keep going, that "we can get back up if we're still alive." I really can't overstate the depth of emotion your music inspires; nothing new I've heard in the last decade or so has even come close to moving me in the same way. I play this song over and over again, hoping to sear the melody and the lyrics indelibly on my brain so I'll always remember them in my darkest hours. I only regret that I have no income with which to support your work on patreon, but I've shared your music with everyone I can think of who would appreciate it in my admittedly very small social circle and hope I'll be able to justify the cost of your album when it comes out because holy shit, the world needs your music and your message.

Превод на Български - тук: I believe these lyrics should be translated and inserted in all languages, here is the translation in Bulgarian: Brother, I know what you mean. Too many of us vets choose to end our lives, because of the hell we go through, both dreaming and waking. Every day, too many of us choose to surrender, when in battle, we never do. I think the fact that us vets forget is that when we serve, we are not alone. We always have a team around us, and support who we can call for assistance. The fact that you are still here says that though the fight is hard, you are still fighting it -- and as a vet myself, brother, I have your 6. You got this. And if you ever feel like the battle is being lost, remember: "When you cant run, you walk. When you cant walk, you crawl. When you cant crawl...when you cant do that...you find someone to carry you." ~ Firefly ep. 11, "The Message" I hope you're doing well, given the times we're living in brother.

I'm german, an american friend showed me this song the other day. It's absolutely stuck in my head. I went through almost the entire channel, I watched the documentary, I read up on you guys- and I do keep coming back to this song. This band is beautiful, you are kind people who use their voice to support mental health in a way that's still so rare, but much needed. the words after the end of this video are smart, well put, and so good to hear. Metal is so full of emotions, and your music hits me extra hard. The lyrics are beautifully poetic, the singing touching and hardcore at the same time, the control over all these instruments is stunning. The video framing, filming, editing- this is such a large project, I'm in absolute awe and I can't put into words about how grateful I am to have found you. I already showed Bloodywood to five other people this. Expect me and my crew at your next europe concerts, my friends.x

Hey Blooodywood, you may or not see this, but if you do I love it. If not I hope someone in my situation does. I was deep in my bottle earlier. I have been drinking for comfort for many years. I have so much pain that I can't deal with, like extreme emotional abuse from my father and sexual abuse from others when I was younger. I quickly found alcohol as a way to comfort myself from these horrigble storm in myself. But tonight, I was fed up with it. I bought a 1.5L of cheap vodka and knew exactly how I was going to end my life, using the vodka to make to easier. I have been a fan of yours forver, and listyened to this song many times. But tonight, I was browsing songs, I don't know why, as I had already resolved tpo end my life and had the gun next to me. This song came on, and after I called the NHPS who literally prevnted me from taking my own life. I don't know what will happen to me next, I asked them to call the police as I wasn't sure I would be ablw to stop myself. Whereever I am, I am alive thanks to this song. This is such an anthem type song which represents never to give up and keep on going until you win. No major fancy dialogues, just one simple shout: "Tu Jee Veere. Toofaano se ladd ke, tu jeet veere." Simply exceptional. Bloodywood, thank you for the bottom of my heart. If I ever reach a level, i will always prefer this song to be played at all sports venue and make our players feel that we are always there for them.

@@nashdasmurayan1975 I am in training to be a mental health counselor myself, and I'm a person who has experienced very deep depressive episodes several times in my life. When I'm depressed, the scream part is cathartic. Here are my theories: It is so visceral, so emotional, so raw. I guess it helps communicate a level of turmoil that I can relate to in my darker moments. I would guess that for some clients, it shocks just a little, which helps them break the mask that they put on; the intensity of the music overwhelms the numbness that can sometimes come with the despair of depression. The raw emotionality of the expression of pain in this music helps them feel that they are not alone, that the singer knows how it is to feel their pain, and understands them. A feeling of isolation is one of the most dangerous things about depression, after all. That being said, cultural filters may be in effect. I don't know when Heavy Metal really became a presence in India, but in America, screaming in music started almost 50 years ago. I hope I'm not making a mistaken assumption, but if I'm right, it has come to India much later, and is not as popular as it has been in the United States and Europe. If my assumptions there are correct, it might be that more of us are used to it, and that we might perceive it differently, and our clients might be more likely to connect to it.
