Yes it is. But only on paper, as pakistan still has 1/3rd of it after it attacked and occupied huge parts of it in 1948. India needs to take back all of kashmir (includes gilgit baltistan) . We also need to support freedom movements of disputed lands of balochistan and sindh.

@Santosh E dude we don't need POK, Our part is actually better...Also, Pakistan did no investment in POK in last 70 years...on the opposite, they have changed the demography by sending punjabi muslims to POK... total messy .... we are heavily investing in our Kashmir under current government... if we take PoK we have to do all those investment again in that part..... so no point on taking that back....

Kashmiri Tea is pink in color not because of a special tea leaves but due to the process it is prepared. It is slowly cooked while it is allowed to drop down to a seperate vessel literally drop by drop. This allows lot of air contact which oxidizes the tea turning it pink. Any tea can be oxidised into pink color but as the process is unique to the taste of Kashmir it is not observed anywhere else. Similar to how tea is consumed with lemon extract in Russia and other places.

@@globalfoodquest4160 becoz those two are parts of diffrent cuisines. They are always meant to be eaten separately accompanied by the sauces. You'd better understand Indian foods if u think of it as a spectrum rather than a single entity. They are hundreds of diffrent cuisines, example just in state of tamilnadu there are more than 40 diffrent cuisines. And rice is primary staple in south India and bread in north. In north you can find rice as either in form of kichdi,pulav or briyani but almost never alone rather in south primarily it is eaten alone.

Nice that u fig deep into the history 🤘 n I hope the south hall food taste like it actually does in India , coz overseas things change as per choice , specially like spice level . My mouth is watering in this lockdown times , as usually we get this food at a fastfood stall , n only I guess our mom's knew the old recipes like of jalebi or how to make a samosa . I wanna eat some now

Hey mate! Super appreciate your comment! Yeah Southall really is a majority Indian community, serving food for the locals, so I'd say it will be pretty on point authentic, I mean I spent three months in India but a long time ago now and I'd say this rates with some of the food I ate there, although as the chap who is serving the Kashmiri tea says traditionaly it's not served with sugar just salt, but people in Southall arnt used to that taste, so perhaps even the locals have adopted a more 'western Indian palate' I don't know this to be true, but it would make sense and is highly possible! Only one way to find out... Time for a trip back to India! ✊🇮🇳
@asmik37384 жыл бұрын
@@globalfoodquest4160 true when the Kashmiri guy said it's got sugar n salt , I was like , normally it's got salt only , as first time I was served it by locals as only salt , n beleive u me since I don't have that taste palet , I just couldn't drink it wihtout sugar , so yup ppl adapt . But I m happy u got to try the pink tea 😇 as I don't think in any of the traveller videos I have seen anyone from western world trying kashmiri tea or even travelling to kashmir , it's the beauty of India n the crown . I hope more ppl travel there but coz of disputes over there it's less likely for ppl willing to explore that region . I m blessed to have seen it for few years while things were better than now .

By Punjabi do you mean Indian or Pakistani Punjabi? Majority of Punjab is in Pakistan.

The best Indian restaurants in Southall as of right now are: Roxy (formerly Sagoo, but the same restaurant - absolutely awesome but on the pricey side), Rita's (newish, and, er... rumours abound about this restaurant's main purpose and my lips are sealed, but it's a great restaurant anyway so definitely try it), Brilliant (newish, not bad, Gordon Ramsay's favourite although he hasn't visited the aforementioned or his opinion would differ) and Kulcha Express (new, upstart, give them a chance for snacks and they won't disappoint). All of the above are Punjabi restaurants, so you'll get your protein, no dosas or anything like that. Omi's Chaat House plus anything on Broadway will be good for snacks like samosas, but if (like me) you like stuffing your face properly now and then, try the big 4 I mentioned.
@globalfoodquest41603 жыл бұрын
Love it thanks mate! Best place for sweets?
@GTMarmot3 жыл бұрын
@@globalfoodquest4160 Sorry, I wouldn't recommend any. The ingredients for the "royal" type Indian foods (e.g. meat dishes and sweets) are expensive. Those restaurants I mentioned don't cut corners on things like pureed boiled peeled almonds, or ground cashew milk. A sweet shop, if it does things the old way, has to throw out lots of unused fresh milk every day (expensive). It has to use saffron (expensive). It has to use energy to slowly evaporate the milk (expensive). It has to dry roast spices (expensive). So, to cut corners they use oil (completely wrong ingredient), flour (completely wrong ingredient), condensed or (worse) powdered milk, powdered spices, etc. They don't start their business doing that. They start off the correct way, then build a rep and cut corners later. It's pretty easy to make Indian barfi the old way - you should try it. This will give you the reference point for whether a shop is selling the real thing.
