We had so much fun making our Mexican friends try our delicious South Indian food in Mexico City! The food was cooked by our dear Tamilian friends and was authentic and served as hot and fresh as it is possible while filming a looooong video like this. Sorry the pooris got flat, it was one of the last dishes they tried. And yes, I said CRACK, because dosa is addictive to south Indians! Don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and follow us on Instagram: bit.ly/2clpA2U Let us know in the comments what was your reaction to Mexicans eating South Indian Food! The weird thing is India got chili from the Mexicans. also, our architects the Vishwakarmas were actually the Incas who were brought to India by a king. that's why south Indian architecture and Inca architecture are so similar.

The pongal is meant to be eaten with the sambar and different chutneys on the side. You wouldn't eat plain rice on its own, would you???
@avoice58785 жыл бұрын
Pongal is not eaten with sambar or chutney. Frankly the pongal looked sad. It is usually accompanied by a spicy tamarind gojju.

That's not how you eat Idli and Vada, what the hell? The guy ate half the idli with a tiny dip in the sauce. The second dudes said "It doesn't taste like much.. it's just a carrier for the chutney". Cmon - Should've got a big bowl of Sambar and submerged the Idli and the Vada in it so the sambar seeps in and makes the vada + idli soft. Then you break it with a spoon, while it's in a piping hot, and as the idli / vada breaks away onto the spoon, soaked from the outside, now sambar rushes onto the spoon and it's now soaked inside and out before it enters your mouth, an experience of sambar + soft idli / vada breaking away in your mouth in one complex bite full of flavours. VS just taking a giant bite of a PLAIN idli and saying "it's dry". South indian food is my favourite and I just watched it get shit in. My OCD demands they remake this video and make these guys try it again the proper way :/

Eating hot idlis with piping hot Sambar is the best way to taste Idly. Idly sambar are inseparable. You can add a little getty chutny( thick chutny without water added) for that extra spice👍👍👍

We will be going back to Mexico City soon. What are the best authentic south Indian restaurants in Mexico City?
@SecondBreakfast5 жыл бұрын
Order the biryani from D-Biryani (m.facebook.com/CocinadeHindu/) They will deliver via Uber. Head to Lord Buddha restaurant at Mercado Roma. Nice Dosas, idly, vada and Upma.

We love North Indian food too! It’s just that South Indian food doesn’t get that much attention! In fact we are releasing a new video where Colombians try Indian snacks which includes North Indian food this week! Thank for watching and we hope you stick around for the next one! 🙏

I find good south indian food everywhere in US, but never that real north indian punjabi flavor
@tylerdavidson24005 жыл бұрын
You are not a South Indian and hence wont be able to judge how good a south Indian food can be. American desi food is mostly toned down for American tastes.

Mexican guests Whoever likes Sambar should be baptised as Tamilians by making they wear shirt & veshti 😀 (Not meant to offend) Video is awesome

it is not something to joke about this is getting very serious problem in tamil nadu and kerala don"t forget LTTE terrorist.
@sunshinek76015 жыл бұрын
Why? Sambar is not invented by Tamilians. It is used by all south Indians and your Dumeel people dont get monopoly on south Indian dishes.
@vankayalakameswarasarma17235 жыл бұрын
@@sunshinek7601 Though Sambar is not invented by Tamilians but it became popularised because of Tamilians,therefore wherever Sambar names come,people will recall Tamil people.It happens in our South Indian states also.
@sunshinek76015 жыл бұрын
@@vankayalakameswarasarma1723 That still does not make Tamil dish. May be in your state (you may be from coastal Andhra) you associate with Tamils but that is not true in Karnataka and sambar is extensively used in Karnataka too. So whoever uses Sambar does not become Tamilian because you guys think so. That is offensive for us.

They reheated puri's, they never have brown marks on them. Atleast give fresh food when you want to represent your country. Would rather taste test with mexican and south Americans than Americans. Americans do taste test and reaction videos for subscription.They eat bland food and suddenly you cannot expect them to upgrade their taste buds
