I did not know that myself but indians and jews have some history together, especially during the difficult times of the jews. Israel and India do have a military business relationship. Despite all that, India was one of the very few supporters of Palestine, recognizing the PLO in 1974. Moreover until 2022-2023, India has supported Palestinians with 35 million USD through the UN agency's core programs and services. Tbh i dont care about hugs when Modi is doing far worse at home otherwise for everything else, and so is Putin. Navalny was Russia's Haniyeh, except without any links to resistance forces. Russia's invasion is a case of its own, and some western journalists try to use it as a gotcha or talking point for nonsense like hugs while they should be really talking about the crimes by Russia. Not because we should support NATO but because it is the right thing to do.
