India is the world's largest army in the world, 4th largest navy and 4th largest air force

Navy is not the 4th largest. Probably 7th largest. Our Airforce is short of squadrons too. Hope you're not counting MiG 21 Bison,s. And at any given point of time only about 55% jets are operational. We have to stop being merely jingoistic and face the reality..

@@adityamukherjee2426 yeah correct this Govt better but still lots need to be done. Our bureaucracy wrangles and red tapism babugiri plus political interference are biggest hurdles. Look at MMRCA for example, pending since 2003-2004, INS Vishal since 2010, submarines, Minesweepers, helicopter carriers, amphibious assault ships, air refuellers, AWACS. I mean list of pending items is so very long. The time India takes on such making a decision is longer than what China takes to construct. Just one E.g. India operating aircraft carrier carrier since 1961. China only from 2011. In a mere 10 year's China now has 3 carriers, plus one huge helicopter carriers and 13000 tons plus destroyers. 11 plus years we're still deciding whether we need INS Vishal. Submarines they have 75 plus including 10 odd nuclear. Our fleet of 16 out of which 13 are 30 year old our if which 4-5 are in perpetual refit. So you see where india stands in front of its most potent enemy and competitor. China has overtaken Russia by a lot and us barely 10 year's behind USA military capability. And believe me for India it's not the money problems. It's absolutely faulty planning, zero succession planning and poltics. IAF still using MiG 21 hence doesn't surprise me. In this decade even our MiG 29,s and Mirages will be very old. Take Care!

@@cyruslovesindia yeah bro you're absolutely right. Bureaucracy and red tapism has destroyed our domestic defence industry. We still got a lot to do. One Tejas construction needed 30 years to complete. India's problem is not money but bureaucracy and red tapism which has continuously plagued the Indian defence industry. One thing that we need to do urgently is to end the monopoly of DRDO in defence. I mean yeah DRDO is currently making good stuffs but still private industry can make a lot better things given that their R&D is much better than the public institutions. I mean look at all the global defence firms like General Atomics, Lockheed Martin, Dassault all of them are private companies and have contributed immensely towards making their countries a prime destination for defence technology. The Modi govt is currently investing heavily on defence industry and indigenous defence infrastructure and I am happy for that but there's still lots to be done

Best of the best from each Regiment are selected to March on the republic Day. And it's one in a life time to get selected from among 10 of thousand other army personal... We Northeast Indian look different from others. And also each regiment have different dress code. Those who perform from the motorcycle are also part of Indian Army they are acrobatics team... -We never start a war but if one retaliated to threaten our territory we don't forgive them. India is a peace loving country.
