After a lot of purchases online and offline to set up our new home here in Goa, it's time to put together the first space in this house - The living room. This is the space that's most important in the house as we entertain our guests & friends in this space. We wanted the style this room in mid-century modern style and set out the purchases and DIYs accordingly. The pendant lamp was definitely the central showpiece which has been completely put together from scratch and on a budget. This hanging lamp cluster adds mood lighting and also utilises the tall ceiling effectively. Most other products are off the shelf from Amazon, boutique home decor online stores or local sellers (Have provided product links to most of the products used, do check them out). So glad to share the results with all of you.

As usual, another stunning transformation. Love every single thing. Also, today I realized why I love your aesthetic so much. I am also a huge fan of mid century modern style and furniture with clean lines. In fact we have a very similar sectional from urban ladder in our living room. Only difference being, ours is grey. And I used to have the same exact bamboo hanging lamp. IKEA has one in the exact shape. It's kind of crazy how similar our styles are. 😀

That's so nice to hear! Yes the lantern style lamp is quite popular and I see several brands selling it and Urban Ladder is a wonderful brand, always wanted to give some furniture of theirs a try and finally got to do so :)

First of all eri Ali Piya Bina (raag iman) backgound music brought back my childhood memories, once I had to riwaaz this at evening. There r so many lovely decors r available in d market both online n local stores too. But to choose n pick up exact items need an artfull eye n taste. Sofa n cane chair collaboration is fantastic.
