@@rehabejaz Music and hamd and naats are considered different. Hamd is something written exclusively to praise Allah and Naat is something written exclusively to praise the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h). Where as music can be written about anything. And there is still an ongoing debate about music as some people consider it to be haram while others say it is permissible if it does not stop you from prayers or you become addicted to it.

It's HAMAD, though one should not use music but because it's combination of poetry and hamd maybe that's why they used music too.
