Werner is an apprentice to become a plumber. His "master" / teaching boss is Röhrich, the guy with the cigar that gets stuck inside his mouth. Werner loves to work on his little motorbike to make it faster, that's why he often gets in trouble with the two policemen. The comics and movies tell stories about his plumbing job, driving fast and drinking lots of beer.

Oft zitiert, wenn irgendwas laut war 🤪 Dann hab ich was über die Rote Armee und ihren Umgang mit Zivilisten am Ende des 2. Weltkriegs gelernt, da wars plötzlich nicht mehr ganz so witzig. Und heutzutage, wenn irgendwas knallt (Feuerwerk etc.), frag ich mich nur wie weit das nächste Flüchtlingsheim voller traumatisierter Ukrainerkinder weg ist und muss jedes Mal dran denken: "Eckaaaart, die Russen sin daa!" Krass, wie derselbe Satz zum Heulen sein kann und in nem andern Kontext total lustig und absurd. Scheisse, ich werd alt! 😅

This kind of humor you can't translate to english because it is regionally and in Germany not everybody understands this kind of humor. So you as Indians it must be very hard to understand it. But I can tell ya, this is a very dry kind of german humor. It's from the north of germany and the dialect is very important to get in this kind of humor. So I am very thankfull that you had to try to understand this piece of not understandable humor of the german north. I'm translating english lyrics to german and sometimes it is very hard but to translate this to english I would despair because I would have to tell so many things around that my translation would be incromprehensibly. But I love it that you have tried to understand german humor. 😍😍

Yes and no. Even as Berlin dude, i always understood werner. And even the thinks i don't understand where pretty funny. With a good translation, you atleast came close. It's not so extreme regionally. Even it plays there and some stuff is that. But most things can happen also in different locations. XD I still lol alot at this movies.

That's the corner where I come from. We from the far north with our stubborn way of life and Low German language are somehow cool and funny people. At least that's how it seems to me. We saw this cult film in the cinema back then and we all had a great time. 😄

Ah Werner... I first saw it back when it was, well not totally "current" any-more but "recent". If you are amused by this humour, this is the first adaption of the comic but there are more recent adaption of other stories, but the general cast remains. It's... weird. It's also pretty much based in northern Germany in setting and dialect, to the point when *nobody* understands the grandfather when talks about the war... the eventual understanding leads to modifying a regular motorbike with the engine of a P-47 thunderbolt US fighter, downed in the moors in the war... it's...weird...🤣 Best regards Raoul G. I don't see the whole screen like you do and so I don't know if there's any translation or not. Werner is a guy from northern Germany and sometimes words have different meanings in differnt areas.
