What a truly extraordinary relationship these brothers have. This is such a sweet video. I don’t know much about birds. I’ve seen cuddly birds but nothing like these two. Do most pet birds form such powerful bonds?

Pippa P. Pod some do and some don’t, it’s not too uncommon but it really depends on the individual birds personalities. Like my conures mojo and jojo wanted to kill each other for over a year then one day they decided they can’t be separated and have to live together. Jojo will actually pluck her feathers out if we separate them or even if I just want to spend some one on one time with mojo as he’s my oldest bird in the flock, she gets so anxious without him. There is also two birds at or were at our local bird rescue one was a mini macaw breed and one was a giant scarlet macaw they were bonded and even when dexter was sick his partner had to go with him to the vet as they don’t like to be separated.

Jacky Hawkins both genders talk it depends on the individual birds personality. Not all birds will talk even with lots of training.

Ana and Moti animals females do talk but they are mean. They bite a lot as well. I have a male and female ringneck. Male is well behaved, never bitten anyone, while female is mean and bites everyone.

Kristen Michelle aw I’m sorry to hear that but I always tell people even adopting a bird not all birds are bad because they were neglected or abused, they just need love! My blue boy he just doesn’t like hands he was hand fed and hand raised I met him weekly, I saw him hatch from his egg, he just HATES hands. He’s not a bird who likes to be touched and that’s fine it’s who he is then Fabio raised the same way same parents he’s okay getting pet on the head and touched. It’s just their personalities and breaking through their barriers to earn that level of trust. My blue boy my aquaman as I call him we have an amazing bond he LOVES to nap on me he beak grinds showing he’s happy and content I just can’t touch his head with my hand and that’s perfectly a okay! ❤️🦜
