Thx for the tie up @ technique session rich! Im local and fish the surf a lot, but the inlet has always stumped me. I'll give it another shot this week

I was the same way! But this year somthing clicked and now I can catch fish pretty much every trip, striper and blues on bucktails 3/4oz , 1, 1.5 and 2oz depending on the the tide. I do best with 3/4 , just gliding it , if you over work it you tend to get the blues but if you can just sweep Bottom under bait your chances of a striper go way up. I’d say south side jetty for numbers and north side for quality.
