Nice video and informative many thanks dude. But for God sake put some towels or thick cloth on your tank and front fender, to save any damage, unless you have so much money you just don't care?? Stay safe buddy

I went with the 10 inch mini apes for my 17 Scout. Much more comfortable position for my arms. I felt like the stock bars were too low. Your beach bars look great....

Hey, thanks for the video. I have been wondering how those beach bars look on the bike. I have the bobber, and the stock drag bars are on it. I'm a shorty. Salespeople have tried to talk me into mini apes, which I don't like at all. My question is, do the beach bars come back a bit farther than the straight bars? I like how they look, but I also need them a tad bit closer to me so that I'm not slumped forward

Beach bars typically are set up to have more pullback and a lower height for the rider's hands. The gentleman in this video had them tilted up which is typically not done. Google pics of cruisers with Beach handlebars and you will see it's a very relaxed upright riding position.

did you need the clutch cable and brake line kit with the handle bar swap?

I didn't need it, but my clutch cable snapped one day, apparently it's an issue on the scouts, so I replaced it with an upgraded one

I'm 6 feet tall, it doesn't hurt my back, but I'm sure everything is different for each person
