Hey man I got this exhaust a few months ago because of your video. I love it but it is crazy loud. I think you mentioned it was a little loud for your taste. Iron Growl has baffles available specifically for these slip ons. They aren’t posted on their site yet. I emailed them to see what they would suggest to baffle these things. The service guy sent me a link to buy the specific baffles made for these. It was $99 for two. I think $59 for just one. Ride safe and take good care

I’m 6’1,215lb I’m about to purchase an Indian scout 20 2023 year model. It’s 1330 cc 100 hp it’ll be my first bike I haven’t ridden bike since I was like 12 all going to be in re-learning experience for me. I’m super stoked. Pray for me, though it has no ABS braking.lol! Ps Just an FYI to everyone who is a little taller out there. You are good on this bike up until about 6 foot three then you start a clown the bike. In my opinion 511 to my height of the very best heights for the bike though!

Sounds sick man! The stock exhaust sound should be a crime😂 I drilled out the baffles of my Scout exhaust which does the job until I can afford some new exhaust lol. No more jetson bike

My first real change was slip-ons. Still want a true performance change but happy with what I got so far. I wait until I’m ready to pull away from my driveway before I start the bike to help compromise with the neighbors.

With how restrictive the stock exhuast is on these, even slip-ons significantly free up the air-flow. Just make sure you are balancing it out by putting on a free-flowing air box (or look on line how to modify the stock box to open up airflow). After that, get yourself an ECU upgrade and you will really feel the difference.

Thanks for that video. I’ve been eyeing those exhausts for a while now but wasn’t sure about the look or volume. I have shorty’s with an extra baffle on my ISB now and they are still very loud

Can you tell if they are a modified version of the factory exhaust? I was able to shorten mine and except for the tips which look sick by the way, and the open end they look very similar.

No they’re not, the inside has a spiraling baffle, much different from the stock ones

If you think those are loud wait till you put the freedom on. It IS deafening loud. I removed mine. I like loud and it was just too much and ratty sounding. It also looks like shit after two years... dont believe the hype and save your money.

I have the GP shorties. Love the sound, for a 1/3 of the price, but those sound good! Please learn the distinction between a crescent wrench and a combination (box-end+open-end) wrench. ;) And I have to agree; pulling those stock mufflers off my Scout 60 hade sweating my balls! 😂

Dude, it hurt to watch you hammer that clamp on with a wrench. Please invest in a dead blow rubber hammer. I like the fact these exhausts are $299 on Amazon. Seems like an economical choice over other options. I see lots of You Tubes on the GP Shortys for $99 - $149, but I feel those are too loud for my taste. While I do want attract attention for safety, I don't want attention from the law. Hard to say from a video, but these seem a little quieter than the GPs, yet plenty loud. Thanks for a great channel. Your vids are very well done.
