It is a sharp motorcycle, Ernest. I own a Victory Vision and just cannot bring myself to trade it in. It is so comfortable and reliable. Be safe and keep both wheels down.

The reason I want an Indian Springfield over a Harley is because Harley still uses the old chain and tensioner tech and the electronics are routed through the hottest part of the engine so you are guaranteed shop time and maintenance expenses for a high sticker price. Plus Harley robs you on things as upgrades that should be standard in the price the way Indian does such as LED"s. Definitely going with Indian

I made the switch to Indian for some of the same reasons! I love the ease of maintenance on the oil, change it in one place and you're done. I love your Springfield! I wish my Chief had some saddlebags like that! Haha.

My Indian service manager told me the same thing about checking oil: hot engine, stand her straight up, let idle for 30 sec. or so, shut it off, let it set another 30 seconds, pull & wipe dipstick, then rethread, remove and read. The manual, though, says start from cold, run 30 sec, shut off, wait another 30 sec., then do the dipstick dance. I do it both ways and don't notice a difference.

Hello Ernest another reason to buy Indian motorcycle is because they are beautiful, people look at you crazy if you don't love Harley, they make the same motorcycle over and over and put a new number on the bike motor and sale for 10,000 more, I have goldwing and trailer just to be different, and Indian is probably next bike so when not touring on goldwing it will fit around town cruising

Your bike is identical to mine,,, i have the solo seat with the passenger add on and the factory sissy bar with back rest and i have the Indian 16" tinted screen,,,, also has the stage 1 air intake and slip ons with fish tail tips 👍

I'd get a Roadmaster classic. Then take the trunk off. That front fender is sweet. Just my thoughts. I have a 2021 Chieftain DH that I turned into a Roadmaster. It's an epic bike.
