Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan interacted with students at a session organised by NDTV. Speaking to Dr Prannoy Roy, the RBI chief said that though the Indian economy is not in a phase of strong growth as yet, there is high possibility that the country will see strong growth over the next two years.

Completely agree with Mr Rajan on the fact that there was a time in the early 20th century when there were invention in the field of automobile, medicines, aerospace which were having a real impact on peoples life around and there was so much promise in the air around. There were lots of movies (Kubrick's 2001 space odyssey) and fiction books which were envisaging a very developed and highly tech world for the 21st century but it has all failed to materialize. What we have mostly on our hand is miniaturization (credit of this mechanism again goes to work done in early 60's) and sandwiching of products like you take a walkman and phone and make an iPhone.

Raghuram rajan is absolutely right when he says that "what I say is different from what gets reported" in this interview he clearly said "lower chance of a bubble in indian markets",yet the NDTV headlines this video as "indian stock markets not in a bubble".
