We were the last foreign Bank still lending in Iran in 2007 - 8, and I used to oversee that lending from Dubai. Lovely memories of traveling on business several times - to Esfahan, Moshad, Khorasan, Tabreez, and Tehran of course. And I went by myself for pleasure once, to Shiraz & Persepolis, Esfahan, Yazd, before leaving from Tehran, visiting Qom on the way. BTW do they still sell my favourite, the carbonated, fizzy Doogh (not the ordinary one) ? 😆Have'nt seen that anywhere else, not even in Iranian supermarkets in the UAE !

......and if you are going to Tehran, and if it is convenient for you, do please post a video of downtown Valisar, and the chinar trees and streams that run between the street and pavement. Have spent hours in the evenings in cafes there.

@@tiktik9413 Only some parts are very cold. Grain for bread is grown, same way vegetables can be grown, seasonally. In old days, it was totally regional, nowadays there is transportation also. Its not like living in Tibet, even there during short summer I believe they grow vegetables and other things.
