Lots of young Iranians think the streets of the west are paved with gold, that people there live without hardship and every young person has their own car and home. Very often they come to the west, work in minimum wage jobs realise they have to pay lots of money for things like water and electricity and can only afford an apartment that's half the size of the one they grew up in. They see the homelessness the addiction and if they're in America they find out that things like transport infrastructure are much better in Iran. Others of course thrive and for some anything is better than living with the oppressive laws. But there is a huge mismatch between perceptions and realities.

I used to believe that it is crime in Iran if a girl is not wearing scarf or sari And it is mandatory for a foreign girl traveling to Iran to wear scarf I've read a news that said a boy was arrested for kneeling down and proposing to his girlfriend in a public area Please correct me if my knowledge is wrong 🥺
@Sarab_mg10 ай бұрын
Yes dear friend it's right , but nowdays so many girls dont wear hijab for freedom 😁 and about that boy Im not sure .
@evanelena6 ай бұрын
It was before but it's not now epecially for turists (U just can not wear bikinies) and about the boy it's insane 😂 I don't think that's right
@aydavaezi16706 ай бұрын
That's true my friend but after the protests 2 years ago, more people are walking in the streets without scarf and because their number is large, police can't do anything. They sometimes come and arrest a few people but Iranian girls don't really care about it and they do what they like to do.

It is good to see different perspectives; it's always a chance to learn new stuff. Keep it up-just a couple of notes. Canada is overrated, way too overrated. The cost of living is super expensive; even if you make good money, it's hard to get by. Ya, it's immigration-friendly, but something has changed recently, as the cap they implemented to reduce the number of international students. It is not that safe, and there are homeless everywhere. It's a beautiful country, but the government is a disaster. About Italy, hey! That lovely older man said we are poor. In southern Italy, ok, I get that, compared with other parts of Europe, but the north of Italy is one of Europe's wealthiest and more industrialized areas.
@CameronHezarkhani4 ай бұрын
In the eyes of many Iranians, the issues you mention may seem less significant compared to the severe challenges they face at home. For Iranians dealing with political repression, lack of personal freedoms, and economic instability, the struggles of life in Canada or Italy might not resonate as strongly. Their focus is often on escaping systemic issues and finding better opportunities for themselves and their families, which can overshadow criticisms of other countries' problems. while the issues you raise are valid, they may not hold as much weight for those seeking to improve their circumstances by moving somewhere that has freedom.

Aren't they in Iran? like why then are they saying they would live in Iran, sorry im confused. Sorry but wat country are they in heir Plz? Ps. did that one young guy say music is illegal in Iran lol like thats insanity.. like wat an evil place that would be where they don't allow music lol. 'Most like Iran but dont say why.
@Beariloun5 ай бұрын
Hello dear. They're Iranians and they currently live in Iran but most of them don't like the government for obvious reasons. Music is not illegal. But They can't get successful the same as other countries,that's what that Guy meant. And of course as an Iranian, I assure you that my country is not a bad place. It has beautiful nature and a very rich history. Hope my message helped you understand this video better🙏🏻.

Your heart will sink when you arrive in Canada and look for a place to live. Don't forget to bring every kilogram of your gold bullion with you. You'll need it. And as Canada (pop. 40m) is short 4-6m homes, has a slow pace of home construction and now accepts >500k immigrants yearly (or 1.3%🤯!), this will worsen for years.
@CameronHezarkhani4 ай бұрын
Your heart will sink when you realize that many Iranians are fleeing severe political repression and human rights abuses to find safety and opportunity, despite the challenges they might face in Canada. The issues with housing and costs are significant, but they don’t negate the desperate need for escape from FAR WORSE conditions. WORSE THEN WHAT YOU HAVE IN THE WEST.

The living standard for my family and pretty much EVERYONE I know is fine in Iran....we arent particularly rich or tied to government in anyshape...in fact we are secular Iranians and Iranians have this illusion that they move to US they can be rich. They dont see that they have to study here to get a reasonable paying job and maybe they afford to buy a house. This can be done in central US if one is a skilled professional but doing this in California is extremely hard. Not to mention all the other drags and disadvantages of living in a western country as an Iranian, one racism, one different culture, other lack of community and friends....Iranians who have it well in Iran imo, dont move to the west to start over. Because its becoming less and less likely that people will succeed financially here.

Oh wow you must be an amazing expert not doing a single research besides watching small clips!!! Honestly, people seek to leave Iran despite challenges in Canada. The high taxes in Iran, compounded by economic instability, inflation, and a complex bureaucracy, can make life extremely difficult. While Canada has its own issues, such as high living costs and government inefficiencies, they are often overshadowed by the severe economic and political pressures people face in Iran. You think the iranian regime knows how to run a society???
